Thanks for the heads up. So it could be used with some additives to make a good brew? Phosphorus and magnesium I think they sell bulk as well. No to water here but fair soft Cornish tap water. If I were to start experimenting should I always stick to ec 2.0 for flood n drain or is that irrelevant away from hydro shop nutes?Looks to be low in P and Mg. If you used it with r/o and added 1.4g/L solufeed and 1.84g/L of calcium nitrate (as per the stock solution recommendation) you`d get an EC of 2.7 and NPK ratio of 4.38 -1- 5.49.
Its a jack of all trades and master of none..kind of nute
Thanks for setting me straight on that. I thought for a moment I had struck a cheap way out. Have you found any 'industrial dry mix' nutes that are suitable? Something I can get a sack of...hopefully in UK or Europe. The issue with modding a fixed nutrient is you only have a limited amount of elbow room. If you add something, you have to take something away to maintain the EC. With a fixed nute, you cant remove say half the N without taking half of the P,K,Mg Fe etc along with it. Now your N is golden but something else is too light By the time your done making the preverbial square peg fit the round hole it`d be easier and likely cheaper to make the nute up from scratch
