:) 32 days I've smoked 2 of them. Even funnier because it's legal here.

I'm just using some of the soil they have at the local shop. It's really nice and light actually, full of coco. Thanks for saying they look good. All I can tell is they are healthy, which is good enough for me. Hopefully good enough for the bosses. ha I'm wondering if they will ever gain in height. I guess shorter is better than lanky, as the tents do have a ceiling. At this rate though I'll be able to veg for 6 months before they hit a foot.

I guess you have a veg space they are in. The vidoes must be of the flower tent. huh? I'm finally wrapping my head around other peoples grows. I mean I've always understood having various spaces, and plants in various stages, but didn't think too much about it with my single space, single run mentality. I serioulsy don't get how you guys keep everything all strait. I'm finding myself feelling overwhelmed with watering every couple days, and everything together and at the same stage. Notes and calendars must be essential. And working out a system as well. The only think I needed to worry about in the closet was putting more water in when it ran out. And that was maybe once a week -10 days. Now I have plants that are hungrier than others, ones that don't drink as much. And I popped a few seeds 2 weeks after the majority, which is doing my head in. I want them to catch up and just be like everyone else. :)

How on earth people handle having more than one child I'll never understand lol. I can barely manage keeping track of a few plants.

Yea i feel ya on leaf blowers. My apartment complex has a contract out with a landscaper. I have literally seen them out mowing/ leaf blowing in the rain. Seems any day I can actually sleep in their out their causing a ruckus. Oh well, such is life.

Garden is doing awesome, into weeks 4 from the flip now. Loving the coco. Dr.d81 brought some pollen over and we pollinated some plants, so gonna have some of my first ever breeding's. I have long wanted to, but finally had some cards come together. Anyway,

Hope all is well with everyone!

Looks like our gardens are on the same schedule papa.
This is my second coir grow and I like it now that I've adjusted from soil.
I'm using Hesi nutes formulated for coir without salt residues.

it just becomes part of life, like shaving and getting a haircut, though i should mention i don't run crazy numbers like dr d and dst etc.

i only keep as many plants as i have to, this is still my part time job and i only spend a couple of hours a week in the grow rooms so everything is kept as simple as possible.

for example i will mix up a strong dose of base nutes in my res and then use a smaller bucket to adjust that mixture, depending on what plants i will be watering. the veg tent will get diluted down to about 3/4 strength, the flowering girls will get the full strength and if there is a plant that requires any additional nutes (pk boosters etc) then they will have that added to the full strength feed. if a plant is a lot shorter than the others i will place it on an upturned pot or something so that everything is on an even canopy.

my general rule of thumb is feed every watering and try to let it dry out in between as much as possible without wilting, as i only visit the garden twice a week it usually works out on its own lol

Simple is better for guys like us although I will be getting into cloning soon and
hopefully a little breeding.
That is one reason I went with Hesi nutes, it's one base and you add PK or other
boosters or enzymes and no salt build up.
I noticed some seeds developing in the plant that was a hermaphrodite but I
expected that you can't get all the nanners, anyway this is smoking weed not
breeding.

Hey bro what's going on?
I'm down to about 3 weeks from harvest. I just picked up an aero-cloner.
:peace:

i've not had much free time lately, got a lot going on in work and managing a move too so not been on the site much.

you and papa are both a couple of weeks ahead of me this cycle, this is the part where it gets really interesting lol.

good luck with the cloner, they seem to be pretty foolproof, i have known people who couldn't clone a willow tree have 100% success using one.

plants are looking good, i was up til 4am the other night doing some maintenance work in the garden so after the next visit ( still 6 bp clones to cane up) it's going to be on cruise control. i'll likely get a video when i go to check on them tomorrow.

What's up with Gringo? Blue Pits look great! Cheese is going to stretch
into the clouds. Nice. :clap::clap:
:peace:
it flopped over on me, i should have supported her earlier on but i like to get the stretch phase done before i start tying any branches up.

hey ghb, how many weeks do u flush and use canna enzyme? Do you taper down off nutes, or just cut em?
too many variables here, especially multi straining.

flushing really isn't a big deal as i know lots of people who don't flush in coco and still get good results. i always taper down my a+b when i add my boosters as plants in late bloom really don't require much nitrogen.

if you want to do as i do and repot without cultivating the coco then the sooner you get on the enzyms the better. if you plan on taking the coco out of the pot and breaking it up in another container to reuse then you won't need to give the enzyms as early.

i basically feed with a+b til i think they are done, then at least 1 watering with zym and no other nutes. sometimes they fade really quick and sometimes they stay green for longer, usually if they fade straight away then this is a sign they still wanted feeding. if you feed strong and every watering then the plants usually take a couple of weeks to fade out.

personally i do like to see the plants cannabalise before harvest, but again, that is strictly down to my taste.

yea I like them to eat up everything and then eat the stored stuff in the leaves. makes a smooth product in my experience. Thanks for the advice, I am planning on reusing coco, and have been giving small doses of enzyme since week 5.

things are looking good in here again :P

also notice how much more developed the clones look to the big plant, you can see bract forming already.

Looks great bro, the cheese is real frosty! I bet it smells wonderful in there.:clap:
I just started week 8 so cutting isn't far off.
