Actually I don't miss idiots walking around with ghettoblasters down the road and on the public transport. That was the 80's and they were a bad influence on young children! Lol Remember those Chiefs ?
Oh man did those idiots suck , you'd think they all went deaf from the radio blastin that close to their ear .

Ive still got a Marantz Ghetto Blaster from the early 80's that rocks & sounds good too .

I dont know if your old enough to remember Curtis Mathes products but they made the best of everything , anything made by Curtis Mathes was made to last a lifetime .

Dig this bad ass box fan made out of solid oak.

They made the best tv sets too .

I wish manufacturers still used oak to make tv sets , the all plastic shit looks tacky too me .

That fan looks really cool, if you pardon the pun. Quite vintage!
I just about remember TV's looking like that in the wood finish. Don't know the manufacturer, it was prob different in the UK. We had a chain of shops called radio rentals who rented out TV's before people could all afford to buy their own. Needless to say they went bust years ago.

Yeah i think Curtis Mathes tv's were considered luxury products outside the US & were most likely way to expensive to export but they were the best tube type tv made .

Our 1st vcr was a Curtis Mathes & was solid oak too .

Ever notice box fans dont move shit for air anymore ? Those old metal blade fans push some serious air , here in the US the $20 box window fans have became worthless in the last 30 yrs & move no air , that is with the exception of a $75 Air King you gotta order online or get at a grow shop .

@BarnBuster , i didnt see your post before i mentioned the fan & your right , do you remember the old footstool fans ?
