Well if you even remeber I commented on it in the beginning on the orginal post like the third or so comment second I quoted you on your post about pulling 2-3 zips off a single cola plant witch I said was impressive , then
I commented on your post that said you can't clone a plant in bud cycle , so I guess I'm commenting on more then the orginal question ?? I don't understand
I don't understand either , this threads all over the place & gets more confusing as time goes by , it makes me feel like my heads gonna pop off :)

I no I usally post on orginal comment and then not again unless I feel I could learn or its a intersting topic to follow and then there's times I go back for no reason and comment that leads to discussion like this that I comment out of line and topic and leads to a debate and for what . An argument with a seasoned grower not my style .

Conversation is the fertile soil for new ideas :)

@panhead Nothing to be confused about here lol. You have read my earlier posts you know that I must stay _reasonably_ within power limits, I never said I strictly want to use one light. As a matter of fact I was going to use two bulbs because the new method you suggested will only use 12 hours for the grow. And my LED's don't even count as light they're 1 watt each! It will cost me maybe $1 a month more, that's fine. I'm flexible within reason obviously extra 1 or 2 bucks won't be noticed, I'll just say I had my comp on more then usual etc. Just don't treat this as a science experiment and it should be pretty straight forward.

So yea, any idea if it's worth trying to stabilize the clone with normal room or LED lighting, or should I just throw it in the box. Just fyi I probably should have said this waay earlier on in my op, but my grow compartment will be under my desk. So technically I can make it about 4square feet of floor space if needed. So I could probably even keep 4 plants in there if they're more or less narrow.

If I have to take a cutting a few weeks into bloom, so be it, I mean can't anyone say for sure here? You guys grow plantations and seem very knowledgable, @budlover13 what do you mean a crap shoot, there's no way to get a decent number of them to plant with the right technique? You guys should have this down to a science.

Again, just from my experience trying to clone a flowering plant. I MIGHT have hit 20% rooted but out of those, at least half grew all funky and really didn't yield much when flowering.

I tried 3 or 4 rounds of clones from flowering plants and simply decided that I was better off taking cuttings in veg. 85-90% success vs maybe 10%.

Sigh... things aren't looking good for my little grow. It looks like I have to go the standard route of just going through veg first, taking clones and putting them in stasis. Has anyone tried this method? http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-medical-marijuana-growing/284053-how-keep-clones-stasis-fridge-method.html. And I was really hoping to use the 12/12 from seed method panhead suggested, I guess I can't have both worlds.
