Eye drops warning.

For the past year and a half I've been a daily bho vaper. During that time I've also relied heavily on Clear Eyes eye drops to keep my eyes somewhat white when I'm at work and what not. I used regular Clear Eyes for a while and then switched to maximum relief. I noticed that even on the days when I didn't vape, my eyes would still be red but I just thought it was just from the marijuana still being in my system.

Because I'm trying to get a new job I have to quit vaping for a while. Well after four days of being clean, I noticed that my eyes were still blood shot. My right eye was showed some improvement but my left eye still looked pretty bad.

I did some research and apparently if you use red out eye drops for an extended period of time your eyes can have a rebounding effect and will stay red even after you discontinue the drops. Some websites say that the effect can be permanent and some say it will go away over several months.

It's been two weeks and I'm noticing some improvement but my left eye is still far from normal. I've been doing some warm and cold compresses on my eyes as recommend on some websites. This shit has been depressing me but I'm remaining hopeful that they will continue to improve. Anyways, if you are someone who regularly uses these eye drops, consider what I'm telling you. Peace.

I use Clear Eyes Triple Action relief. It is the only one that doesn't feel like I'm dropping acid into my eyes, and it works very well. I use it about 3-4 times per week, especially when I'm super baked late at night and my eyes start to get irritated and itchy. I haven't noticed any ill effects over the years, but you say you used your drops daily. Hope you heal well, thanks for the heads up...

Omg! That was me years ago! I was using VitalEyes whitening brightening eye drops after smoking. Effective as they are my best friend was really against it and tried to talk me out of them. I could be stoned off my box and 2 drops looks I looked completely normal.

Now, I just don't care anymore if I look stoned and we don't have a huge market here for eye drops.

Yeah I stopped using eye drops years ago. They're bad for you and your eyes get red after smoking for a reason. I don't feel like explaining why right now (at work after a rough shift drinking a shift beer) but forcing them back clear isn't good. And peoe can still tell anyway. Even if they're not red you still have that weird glaze (is that the right word? Idk). My boss at my old job pointed that out to me. But they didn't give a fuck as long as you come in high and didn't do it on the job. Where I work now I smoke bowls with my boss all the time during work hours so whatever.

Yea, it's called blazing your high! Really though, I always thought if you were a regular smoker that your eyes would eventually start looking normal, so I try to never miss a session. I've also heard that some herb is more vasodilator and some is more vaso-restrictor. That may part of what the blood vessels are responding to.
