i notice that you have done nothing to personally lead the charge to get government out of marriage. we all know that this is because you don't mind enjoying the benefits that come with it, just like any freeloading mooch of a bigot.

in your mind, it's the gays that need to "fight for the right to be free from government" in this case.

because we all know how easy it should be for a minority of less than 5% of the population to get congress to rewrite the entire tax code for all people, both gay and straight.

basically, what your statement comes down to is that you're OK with getting the benefits of marriage, you're OK with gays not getting those same benefits, and you feel it is their job to make everyone equal by getting rid of benefits for everyone, an impossible task.

Why should "government permission" (a license) be part of that equation?

Marriage isn't protected by law, it is RESTRICTED by law to those that have gotten permission from government.

Here`s an example of how the 14th works,...You have the Right to keep and bare arms and the 14th says nobody including the Government may infringe upon that Right, it`s Constitutional law. Should you commit a Felony or gun related crime, you committed an act that gives up your right to firearms and you are no longer covered by the 14th.

There is no Constitutional law stating you must marry, therefore it is up to each State to regulate marriages and set guidelines or qualifications. All of these are State matters and the 14th can only be used if these regulations are broken, it does NOT write or approve of anything so only if these stipulations are broken can you refer to the 14th, You cannot use the 14th to write them or approve them but only to enforce them.

If those stipulation say same sex marriages are disqualified from said benefits, and you give same sex marriage the benefits,...you break the law. If the stipulation says same sex marriages are entitled to the benefits and you deny them, you break the law.

Each State has their own qualifications and the 14th ensures what they say is what they do. By nature of what they are(qualifications and stipulations) you can be denied but not discriminated against. Qualifications use discrimination to be met. That`s not a 14th issue.

Gays want to change the "between man and woman" so under the 14th they can receive those benefits. You cannot use the 14th or the SCOTUS to make those changes. Wall street paid to have that done because of two losses to the People in the proper Courts.

Yes the Constitution does protect all citizens and it`s laws are Nation wide. So about that law, where is it ? I want to read it.

You cannot put Black in place of Gay no matter how hard you try, one is a race and the other is a choice. That choice excludes them from the marriage benefits incentive because it`s between a man and a woman. If Blacks couldn`t get the benefits from the incentive, than you would have a case. Your sexual orientation is not covered by the 14th when it comes to qualifications and stipulations for the marriage benefit incentive because they are not law. Your race is.

What facts ? What professionals ? What is stopping a person from not being Gay ?

All of your answers will still have no jurisdiction in the SCOTUS or be covered by the 14th because you are addressing a qualification and stipulations none of which are law.
