Should put a real carbon filter on and let me know how it works.I forgot to show the filters when I got them. The top fan has a carbon screen in it to absorb some smell. My girls are flowering and it doesn't smell to bad. It's still early
in the flowering stage though. They're not in the box cause I just watered them and I don't do it in the cab.

Putting a real carbon filter on a duel pc fan sounds tricking. Any ideas? The filters on there now are doing a pretty good job. When I open the doors the smell is definitely stronger.Should put a real carbon filter on and let me know how it works.
There is a thread around here where someone cut a piece of mesh to the size of a computer fan added 1'' walls of cardboard, filled it with activated carbon and put another piece of mesh oh the other side. It's essentially a filter the exact size/shape of the fan stacked on top of the fan...I believe it was taped on there.Putting a real carbon filter on a duel pc fan sounds tricking. Any ideas? Thrips? you didn't say fly, so that would be the next obvious 1st guess....I have fruit flies but using Neem oil mixture as a soil drench...no mites/no flies......works really good...All those little spots in the saucer are bugs. Some dead, some still alive. It's only been 2hrs since I rinsed them out.

NeatWhen my soil is well balanced and microbiology is at its peak I see 0 bugs or if I do it's much like this: I am a bad bug! Ooooh....probiotics murked me...
I think the good bugs in your soil are suffocating the bad.
Well done!
Nope, they're fungus gnats. Dead ones keep showing up. My plants look completely fine though. Just got some gnat nix the other day to combat the bugs. Well, I'm hoping the bugs didn't cause any damage to the roots. I just started week 8 of flower. I'm in the home stretch. They ARE !!!
Nice build, my man. It's made from 3/4" oak plywood. It's solid and heavy. I love it. The outside dims are:
29.5"L x 21.5"W x 41.5"H
Just wanted to share what I built with people who can appreciate it. It's almost 100% done.
I've got some very minor light leak to fix and still have to get the filters for the fans. Oh and I plan to hide the wires under some pcv pipe cut if half. I want everything nice and clean lookingView attachment 3369913 View attachment 3369914 View attachment 3369915 View attachment 3369916 View attachment 3369917 View attachment 3369918 View attachment 3369919 View attachment 3369920 View attachment 3369921 View attachment 3369922

Does the wood get hoter then a traditional tent? Thinking of doing something like this with a 250 watt hp and 6 inch duct fans.So far the cab is running great! Depending on my room temp the cab ranges from 75f-85f. Sorry, but I won't be posting pics of my plants.
However, they are very healthy and happy. Had one issue with one growing into the light and got burned just a wee bit. For nutes I'm using Nectar For The Gods. Really great stuff.
My plan is to build an LED light for this cab but money is a little tight. Just got a new car. And the cfls are working just fine for now.
I may post a pic of the ladies...if you guys promise not to tell my roomy who's paranoid about the internet. haha
