Riots in Baltimore

spinal cord 80% severed while in police custody.

probably just an innocent mistake.
Aint nothing innocent about severing a mans spinal cord , its fucking murder plain & simple for all to see , either a baton strike to the spine or a more common scenario of the person allready on the ground when a 220 lb cop does a knee drop on the spine , a knee drop from a 200 lb man would create thousands of lbs of impact force .

The blue cover up is allready happening & nothing will be done about the murder .

My comment(s) were merely a comment on the facts presented to me.

Fox, CNN and other "news" organizations have reported that the kid broke his own back. I am merely pointing out how absurd that sounds.
No they did not, they reported :
Freddie Gray, whose death triggered Monday’s rioting in Baltimore, may have intentionally tried to injure himself in a police van, according to another prisoner in the vehicle, the Washington Post reported late Wednesday night.

I'm going to throw it out there that is it not feasible that he may have rammed the side of the van similar to spearing in football? IF , and that's a big IF he was trying to do so?

What if a man was about to be hit by a truck and another man rushes in and pushes him out of the way, but breaks his spine in the process? I would call that an innocent severing of a man's spinal cord. But I digress since that isn't what happened here.

I think the police breaking his spine is the most believable possibility, but clearly there is much we do not know. Many of the protesters I see on tv are claiming that police are racially biased/corrupt in Baltimore and have been for a long time. How can this be true? I THOUGHT Democrats were the virtuous side on racial issues since flipping sides in the 60s and I know Baltimore has been controlled by Democrat leadership since then. So what gives?

If you think rioting and looting are an acceptable response to a tragedy and if you also think that doesn't take away attention and legitimacy from the people who are protesting peacefull
I personally think the riots & looting are exactly whats needed , lets not forget that riots helped bring an end to the war in Vietnam , riots were also responsible in bringing about civil rights .

You can stand someplace all day yelling trick or treat at the cops & nothing gets done , you start tearing shit & burning shit down mother fuckers start paying attention , businesses & money traders dont stand for the interuption of the cash flow & put pressure on government to effect change .

All the biggest changes in our country have come about from the use of violence by its citizens against the established order of the day , peacefull protests may spark debate , violent protests bring changes & history proves it so .

The next stop on the rioters list should be police headquarters & city hall , then burn both to the fucking ground , if it was my son i'd light the match myself .

Police are not a political organization, they have morphed from public servants into a military institution that rules by brute force .

As a man who's been beaten within an inch of his life by police i know how they treat undesirables.

I have never had a pleasant experience with a cop. They are not your friends in most cases.

Police chiefs are appointed by who then?

Sorry to hear of your terrible experience with cops, I'm not a fan either.

Oh c'mon. You, as well as I know that is a play on words. You know full well that Faux reported it as, "the thug broke his own back, shame on the liberal media for jumping to conclusions". Don't give me that "may" bullshit.

Neither of us know for certain how Freddie was injured or where they are. Only the police department, medical examiners and district attorney's office knows this information, and they are stonewalling everyone.

Until we all know how and where his injuries are, I am suspicious, and rightfully so. Police brutality is common place these days.

So MLK's superb leadership abilities and influence had nothing to do with Johnsons' final push for the Civil Rights Act? . How violent was the Social Security Act? Medicare?Medicaid? It takes leadership and the voting power of the citizens. You are right in situations like Nam though . Took a big wakeup call. But maybe if we elected people who hire the right people to bring about this change we would get somewhere. Take the Attorney General. Holder sucks ass and incapable of demonstrating anything remotely resembling leadership; but I do have confidence in Ms Lynch. She can bring about this change in the justice system provided Obama grows a pair and become a leader himself and compromise. With compromise comes change.

Dude I got it right off the website verbatim and heard it with my own ears on TV. May May May. Still speculative, not official, according to... statements like that. Post up a clip that they talked like that please, come on. (Maybe Hannity would, but he's up there with Al)

you are aware that just because a city may have a democratic majority, that does not entail that each and every single resident in that city is democratic, right?

i mean, you do grasp that concept, yes? no?

You are steering away from the original discussion that I put forth; which is, I am finding it very suspicious that a handcuffed individual was able to break there own back inside a moving van.

Let's take your football reference and dismantle that right quick. Players who injure themselves by "spear tackling" their opponent ALL have something in common. Do you know what that is? Momentum.

I still assert that there is virtually no way Freddie broke his own back.

I do understand that point.

The complaints I saw on the news were from Baltimore residents claiming there has been a longstanding issue with police brutality and racial profiling. Perhaps that is not the case? .

If it is a longstanding issue should there not be accountability?

all the evidence indicates that that is certainly the case though. why would you even doubt that?

police brutality and racial profiling against blacks happens in every city across the united states.
