Bill Cosby - Serial Rapist?

OK so I read today that another 2 women have come forward and accused Bill Cosby of rape. That makes somewhere around 40 women? I'm not into victim shaming at all but i'm so on the fence about this. He was a serial rapist and NO ONE came forward until now? 40 women and not a single one said anything to anyone until now? I just don't understand those odds. Unless they did and that just wasn't in the story...idk. I have to admit I haven't kept up on this story very well so I could be wrong about that. I would just think that if someone had come forward before it would be mentioned repeatedly because it's a celebrity news story.

What do you think?

it was the same in the UK with jimmy Savile a few women came forward in the 80's but he was that much of a famous celebrity that it got brushed under the carpet until he died now I think it's up to about 60 women claiming that he raped them., sounds to me to be the same since bill is one of the richest people around

Many, if not all, of the women he encountered wanted show biz careers. Bill Cosby is very powerful... Like Jimmy Savile.

It would have been very difficult to bring that up as the first one when Bill was at his height.

Interesting fact: Ike had a mistress in WwII. Kay Summersbee was assigned as his driver in 1942 and they played house until Ike left Europe in 1945. Kay was cool and didn't threaten to tell anybody, but she married an American officer and moved with him to DC. Her life was made very, very difficult by people who sought to protect Ike. They ruined her and her husband's career.

I'm not sure that 40 women complaining about Bill's sexual misconduct is convincing to me. Maybe if a total of 71 women came forward I would sit up and take notice.

we have had a couple in aussieland lately. Very high profile young girl rapists, actor Robert Hughes who played the jovial father in a popular late 80's early 90's comedy series 'Hey Dad!' sentence 10
years , 9 mnths

And Rolf Harris, musician, singer-songwriter, composer, comedian, actor who was sentenced to 5 years and 9 months

Hard to say who is telling the truth and who is just after some money Bill Cosby has a net worth of 400 million according to celebritynetworth.com so a lot of these women are in a position to make a lot of money while I think some are telling the truth there is a strong possibility that some of these accusations were fabricated by people who see an opportunity to make money off of somebody else's pain and suffering.

Not sure where you were going with this one.That's fine though I have every right to express my opinion on here it's a free country but I don't have to put up with haters that's what the ignore feature is for bye bye hater go troll on someone else!

Same kind of thing is happening right now with Jian Ghomeshi in Canada. He was a radio personality, very famous on the CBC here. For YEARS he abused women at the workplace, and in life.

jesh, if that's all it takes to get on your ignore list, there's going to be about 80% of the board on there in short order..
