hello ppl

well my skills keep getting better and i am out growen the set up i have now
current 10x12x7 room
1 4x4x6 tent growth
1 5x5x6 tent flower
1 3x3x5 tent drying
1 3x3x3 frame work with water spill mat starting spot /work top

i am currently thinking to remove everything out replace the drop ceiling with drywall .....then use some 4x4x7 in the room to make anchor points for some piping to use to hang the gear off

as for venting it is 10x12x7 is 840 i currently have a 400cfm in the 5x5 tent so that can handle the whole room once every 2 mins (walls were already poly wrapped door cut/window cut and closet cut with zipper ) good news the door opens out so if i want a tub effect for Co2 simple to make

as for light i have a 1000w hid and 2 600w led 2 300w led and 1 t5 2ft 8 bulb
thinking the hid in the center the 2 600w on the side to flill out room for flowering and the 2 300w and t5 for veggie........i know i need to do more hid or more led ( i will get some 900w leds that i can daisy chain into one controller)

what u think good use of money or rethink just rent a town house

i wouldn't wanna go back to a tent ever they aren't bad but if you have a good grow wnviorment now setup tents can get to be pains... especially if you live places you really need dehumidifiers and heaters... they take up a lot of space... but ill tell you now stay away from renting and growing very wrong way to go unless you know your renter and the neighbors are smokers it can be serious shit..

r u in a room now? have u used tents before?
all my tents are in that room
yes i used tents for 3 years now

my plants are growing passed the light (i got one cola between a break in the lights that is 4/5 inches taller then the lights
....i am using 6 foot tents lose about 16 inches with the wire that is on the hangers

thinking of just converting that whole room the tents are in into one massive grow room no tents

the renting choice comes from a massive smoker
he has a townhouse he rents out .........ppl living there before were hooking him up with weed but his wife found out

the person i off load my extra too knows him and gave me the idea ...........i am sure i can talk the guy into dropping the rent to 1500 a month (i can move in my oldest buddy in the world to live there ) he will cover half the rent and i would the other half he gets the 2 upper floors and i take the basement that is 80% undergronud with a fire place (i can vent up and out the fire place)

Imo converting the whole room will be much better. I don't care for tents because they are too cramped and its much easier to control the environment of a whole room.

ok right now the walls are crap old wood pannel .......with poly wrap on them ....ceiling is a drop ceiling

1 should i redo the ceiling with dry wall
2 should i do the wall with drywall or should i just add IR blocker on top of the polywrap

no i mean IR wrap isn't a serious need... but thats a personal choice... as for dywalling the ceiling... if you know how to do it and do it well yes... but if its not going to be properly mudded.... sealed and painted.. i would do a drop and line the inside of the room with some kind of wrap.. just cause drop ceilings can soak up humidity and crap and they can get moldy...

oh k me too thats why id say do it. but you know what kinda work that entails.... so thats really a personal thing... but r u renting the place u wanna remodel or no? that would be a determining factor too... cause you don't want to put a bunch of money and time into something you have to let go too..

i can not do it .....i am geek/ redneck jerry rigger

but i got buddies i can trust plus i have a spare room i can more everything into ........the room is only 240 sqaure feet walls and ceiling so work should be done in a day

the cycle i am on i have a 2 weeks open period i can get it done use the back deck for light for the youngens (aslong as under a foot the cop next door will not notice it (or he does and does not do anything about it)

the renting place ......not really i would make a floating wall with a door to section off the basement to all ppl to use the laundry room but keep my stuff sealed up and out of veiw
the townhouse are all the same build and my older brother has one in that area so i know i get about a 15 x20x8 space
