Soo this is my first time grow quite a few concerns pretty sure i know what caused it but looking for a second opinion...

Transplanted the little ones on the 17th of april and everything was going smooth..up until a few days after on the 20th i noticed the new growth started getting light on the edges but thought it was shock from the transplant now pretty much lost all the original leaves looking back looks to me like its nute burn because i gave them their first feeding a day after transplant than realized after reading some more i should have given a 1/4 less of what i did..anyways i dont have the name of the soil of nutes on me but ill update this when i get home the first picture is from the 20th and second is 2 days later and the last pic is now.

Thanks for any input!

When you fed your plants, you threw the nutrient balance way out of whack.
Just use some good organic soil next time and save yourself some money on the chemicals, your plants will "thank you". :joint:

yeah seems to me your burned them up, they also look like you used some kind of cal-mg correct? i would start with half of the half of the dose recommended, so 1/4 doses for like a week and slowly build it up. honestly at that stage i would still be feeding plain water. if you used a good soil, the soil should have enough nutes to support your ladies for a good 4 weeks without the need of nutes.

Where is your perlite? First time grower I totally understand. I recommend doing a bit more reading. Also, if they are that young and you use good soil you won't need to use nutes til they are much larger.

Soo the soil ive been using is this miracle grow expand and grow and stupid me i never noticed that it says right ont hw bag can feed them up to 6 months.. I keep overlooking the small things.. I know should have perilite in there and it would help things alot more but being a noob thought i would be fine with what i had here...also the no calmg was used i used miracle grow all purpose nute 24-8-16

I totally thought they were much farther ahead than they actually were looking at where people were at this point. Constant learning experince but im loving it this is a great site for noobs like me

The joys of growing for a first time..live and learn right:) whats the best mix of soil you guys use? I know everyone has their favourite but its nice to hear whats most common

Wow;.... I have never seen a plant so burned then that 3rd pic. OMG. bro let me tell you a rule of thumb I was taught,
W.e the bottle says use half. If its your 1st time using it then use 1/4.

You need two different types of soil. One for veg stage one for bloom. Also, you need 2 good pots with good DRAINAGE DRAINAGE DRAINAGE. The clone or seedling should be in a 2 or 3 gal pot and then transplant into a 5 gallon (tall style) bucket.

Veg soil:http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002JLEDQ0/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?qid=1430751820&sr=8-5&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70&keywords=fox farms&dpPl=1&dpID=51NKTKNlQxL&ref=plSrch

Bloom soil:http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001I49Q98/ref=s9_simh_gw_d0_g86_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=mobile-1&pf_rd_r=1X9GESQJMY5QFBEBF7SV&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=2068141862&pf_rd_i=mobile

Be gentle with everything you do to your plant.

Growing is 25% genetics, 25% skill, 50% luck.

Also, with those soils nutes come packed for 2 weeks, I say more. My girls are day 17 veg no added nutes yet and they still kinda have tipped claws.

there's a few great soils out there, 3 most popular are - Roots Organics ( i always use RO ), Foxfarm soil, and Royal gold. You could play with your soil, maybe add some wormcastings, perlite, lime, coco, neem meal, who knows whatever you want to add to it. You can always buy 2 different type of soil bags and mix them together! the good thing about this brands is that you can keep your seedling alive with just pure water for 3-4 weeks at least. once you think theyre ready, feed them small doses of nutrients ( 1/4 maybe less to get them used to it ). goodluck on your second grow man! stay lifted :peace::leaf::bigjoint:
