Oh no, i meant the heat issue on the plant you posted. Was just wondering if it got any worse then that or were you easily able to make it to harvest with healthy leaves.
The indoor pic is of the DR by greenhouse seeds. its either from fertilizer or just the DR. Don't know, I only ran it once, but it stayed healthy until harvest. just a couple leaves here and there had curled ends. Although I do have more DR seeds ready for my outdoor this year.

Got to love threads like this bottom line do what works best for you LED , HPS all work there is no doubt ,, There is also a shit load of mis information also on LED Sure LED has come a long way but it still hasn't surpassed HPS..
lets be honest to each other here everyone can post HPS yields and LED yields truth is when it comes down areaa of coverage LED Fails could this be why COB has come into play most Umol readings on led are right in the perfect light area of the unit appears most LED companies use that horrendously,, yet fail to show actual outside corners umol which are diminished tremendously i mean seriously
they come up with these designs thinking some rectangular unit will in fact cover a 5 x 5 area when common sense prevails this is absurd with most angles being what ??? its impossible to cover that area
everyone is using wattage or area when in fact one only needs to look at umol that is the driving force of growth
why does LED not show umol readings you ever wonder
and this is why so many LED companies get debunked
you buy a 600 watt led unit yet it doesn;t yield anywhere close to a 600 HPS you get the well its not a true 600
Blow it out your ass if you say its 600 WATT it better dam well be 600 watt lol not the 70 percent less driving force this is so it doesnt blow up hahaha and now it last 50,000 hrs its more efficent lol again BS
there has been numurious this led is better then 1000 watt hps yet when the average grower does a side by side its not even close lol

A cxb2350 3000k 80cri U2 bin driven at 500mA has an efficiency of 49%. Going by this handy chart (by @alesh) that shows the umol/J of radiation, you can calculate the umol/J of source = 4.87umol/J * 0.49 = 2.386umol/J

You are right that most commercial lamps being sold can not beat HPS in terms of umol/J of source, but you're simply wrong here that no LED can't beat the performance of HPS. (spreading misinformation).

Here show me a LED that can grow 100 plant with only 2000 watts its not going to happen anytime soon what you would see is massive stretched plants 4 - 5 feet away from light source thems are facts

by the time this finally processes for most of them they might finally switch over because the market will be flooded with this stuff but you'll be arguing with them that newer models have came out and are better and they'll still be to thick to understand what your bringing to the table history repeats itself and disco is dead it's been dead and they still wanna fight about it

Why do those plants look unhappy? They should look like this

SAM_0470.JPG

That's only 6 plants taking up a 4x4 tent and only using 372 watts. I'm rendering my video right now of my 4x8 tent grow with only 16 plants that are monsters

Actually those plants were taken right after room was fogged the drooping was from VPD
i am not here to judge LED i agree LED Has made major advancements and will only get better :)
again we can post till the cows come home on what looks good in all seriousness right :) but if were going to get technical here is a plant 30 days from a 3" clone that is what i call extreme growth also buds like this one on 5 gallon pail is what i am talking about here look at lower bud sites HPS means business

TBO i have been looking at adding some LED as supplemental lighting in conjunction with Gavita 's and LEPplasma lighting been looking at the Mars from top led prices are reasonable i just might go with the 600 watt mars giving me 2350 per 25 Sq feet
