This longer-flowering, foxtailing Jackberry F4 pheno is on 71 days and still pitching new pistils.
Very nice smidge! Have you smoked this one before? If so, what are your thoughts on it? The parents for this cross sound great! Contemplating picking up a pack of them... although I need more seeds right now like I need a case of hemorrhoids. :?

I never smoked this particular pheno, but I ran through a 10 pack with only 2 males. Two distinct phenos with this one being more rare. Anything from Sannie or his breeders is worth it IMO.

Hey guys
This is my second scrog attempt with Nirvana Ice. Just stepped up to 10 gallon smarties with a homemade ROLS mix, the only amendments added were alfalfa meal, kelp meal, and greensand. I'm going no till as soon as I phase out the rest of my 5 gallon pots though!
I'm super pleased with how healthy this girl looks...bud pRon will be forthcoming.
We'll see if my hydro friend will finally shut the fuck up when he sees the results haha.

Here's hoping.

Peace

Goddamn.

Those fall colors are fawkin amazing! Well done.
Thank you. It was definitely fun having a plant run the full range of colors like that. I hope we get a cool enough fall this season for my outdoor Alien to get some color too.

Fuckin A man, love the fall colors and a plant taken all the way to its end! The smoke becomes pretty damn narcotic on my mostly indica strains. I have always been a believer in taking plants pretty damn deep into their bud cycle, but had an experience this morning that makes me question it.

I have a strain I made by crossing a Jackberry F4 gal I liked with pollen from a stinky ass male Caramel Candy Kush that I generally take at 63 days, with mostly cloudy trichomes and near 100% red pistils. A couple nights ago for the fuck of it -- and because I'm out of flowers dammit and smoking dry ice kief -- I clipped a little bud that was pretty shaded, yet still kind of dense at day 49, wrapped her in a paper towel and put her on the water heater. It was actually a little dry for my taste and of course quick dried, but damn I was surprised just how fucking HIGH I got. I'm talking extreme heady, ready to go high. Interesting.

Here's the plant at day 45, along with a couple more Jackberry phenos at day 38 and a bonus 3-grades dry ice kief I been hitting. Sorry about the HPS but didn't feel like pulling them.

Interesting how the cannabinoid profile changes so quickly. I used to let my plants go pretty deep in to their harvest window too. I'm of a different mindset now. There's quite a bit of info out there suggesting that amber trichomes are a sign of thc degradation. I tend to get more of a "high" from plants that are mostly cloudy/clear, and more of a lethargic stone from ones that are left to go amber.

It all depends on what you're using it for. Early harvest might make a better recreational high. I like the medical effects from later harvested plants. I'm a nausea patient so letting them go extra amber is best for me. That doesn't make me right or you right. That's the beauty of this diverse plant. It can work for people in different ways to suit our personal needs. I love it.

That's for sure mjmama. I grow for myself and a few patients, and their needs all vary. For medicinal purposes I tend to agree with you, with the exception being high cbd varieties. The cbd tends to peak sooner than thc, so I often pull those earlier in the harvest window.

Yeah usually i go with a 10 gal but my space was getting real tight. I have 2 in my other closet now that are in 10+ and they are probably twice the size.
