New grow tent, 300W LED Panel, second grow ever.

A few more pics at day 12, saw some decent growth overnight last night. Does anyone know what could be going on with the tips on a couple of the leaves? It isn't too noticeable, and I tried to take a picture of it in the last picture, but it is hard to see. Nothing to be worried about? Thanks!

Day 13 and she definitely stretched a bit overnight. She got her first taste of nutrients this morning with her watering. I added just four small drops of FF Big Bloom to the jar of water that had been sitting out, PH'd it to right at 6, and let her have it. We will see if she likes it.

I am going to need some guidance on when to start training her as I feel she is going to get fairly big soon. Is there a certain height? Certain amount of nodes? Sets of leaves? Thanks for any help!

And on another note, check this other plant out that I royally fucked up by putting the LED panel WAY TOO close to when I first got it. Same seeds and same strain but really shows what can happen to a plant when it gets really stressed out I guess? Look how small the leaves are compared to the other new girl lol crazy.

What should I do with this thing you guys think? Lollipop her to get all that crap growth out from underneath? I am done with her lol if you look closely it actually has like four or five nice little top areas. I think I may take it out of the tent and put it under a 150W HPS into flower and see what happens. Yikes.

just raise up the led panel. mine is 600w and needs to be 2-3ft away in veg and flower.
i had it at 15 inches for awhile and my leaves started to crinkle bad. then read the recommended height at the web site, raised it and few days later looked great.

you are using fox farm OF, i would not use nutes for at least a month from seedling trasplant. if i remember right ocean forest is a bit hotter then happy frog.
flush and raise the led panel and it should be fine in a week or so.trim off dead/burnt leaves, just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the input, I have since raised the LEDs up, and that is why the new girl is doing much better than the older one.

So today she seems to be a little droopy. No nute burn or anything from her first taste of those, but possibly a little over watered. The pot that I have is a plastic round pot that has a bottom that lifts off with a little room in between the bottom of the pot and the "tray," and the roots have seemed to grow out of the bottom and were resting all night in a little pool of water that had gathered in the tray from last nights feeding. My feeling is that this could have led to her being a little droopy and possibly a hair over watered.

Any thoughts on this? Should I trim the roots or is that a big no no? Get a different pot?

Damn, I was afraid of that...so that little tray thing is no good huh? I didn't even realize that it did that until after she was planted. :/

Any thoughts on pot size? I have one gallon smart pots on hand but I should probably go a little bigger.

I have a bunch of Fox Farms Happy Frog soil already and some unused 5 gallon buckets....hmmmm, think that is the way I am going to roll. I will drill a bunch of drainage holes in the five gallon and get her into it. Only problem is I have no time to do it tonight so I drained the excess water in the current pot pan to hopefully dry her out a bit and let her go dark for the next six hours. Hopefully she perks back up and I can transplant her just fine tomorrow.

well i got two plants filling out a 3x3 scrog in 3 gal pots, i see roots at the bottom of the holes as well. 50 day veg from seed. i've flowered nice plants in 3 gal. 5gal is over kill imo " unless you are doing a huge scrog". if water is coming out the bottom on normal watering " not flush" you over watered and needs to be drained out of the overflow pan. i feed mine 64oz per plant and never get run off in 3 gal pots.

Thank you for the input. I will run to Home Depot tomorrow morning and try to find some more suitable pots in the 3 or 4 gallon range. Hopefully she perks back up a bit tonight. Lights come back on in two hours and I will see.

Ok everyone so I didn't wake up in time this morning to go get some new pots for the girl before I had to run to work, so she won't get transplanted until tomorrow, and the roots that were hanging out of the bottom that were sitting in water in the bottom "tray" are now real dry looking since I dumped out all the excess water. Is it OK for those few roots to dry out like that? The plant as a whole seems to have perked back up a little since dumping out the water in the tray. Here she is at day 15.

I also need some guidance on training her. I have looked around and read lots of articles regarding LST but I can't really figure out if I should bend her over sideways? Bend all the main branches down around the plant to let more light into the middle? Any guidance here would be appreciated as the stem is getting thicker by the day and I am getting afraid that I won't be able to bend her too much. Thanks in advance for any input.

Just hook a bit of garden wire/string around her and pull towards the edge of the pot.
It gets a bit more obvious what to put where when she gets bigger
