Can you grow two plants in a small area with a 100W Flood light?

So If I decided to use one in a small area what will happen I mean I figured they would grow because they give off a red spectrum.

You need to find out exactly what kind of light you have. A flood light and a HPS are not the same thing. If you have a 150w HPS you can do a small grow with it. If they are halogen or incandescent flood lights then they are a waste of time. :peace:

WORD! The term "Floodlight" only infers that the light source projects itself outward in a relatively wide beam, as opposed to a "Spotlight". It says nothing about what "type" of light the source actually is - LED, HID, CFL, regular incandescent, Halogen or whatever!

I have two 65 watt flood lights tht i got from the store BI-LO and my plants is two months old with nugs bigger then my thumbs and i got it in a tuberware plastic tub a giant on and its in a five gallon bucket inside it with some foil wrapped arouns the whole thing and the top its in a closet and she smells strong as hell and is wicked frosty the leaves are like whiteish from the trichs all ive been using is spring water and distilled and i got some soil from local ahop n some super conpost stuff. any ways te lights have beeb working perfect for me they are soft white bulbs also

Its been two months exactly and it stanks like somw bubba or something the foil isn't tin foil its some foil i got from work its kinda see through

Only read the first 2 posts... But normally flood lights arent HiD (MH/HPS, in fact im almost positive they arent). The flood lights ive seen are halogen and arent good for growing bud AT ALL.

Can u find out by looking up the brand what type of light u really have?

any thing that is a flood light attached name is not a hps or mh and would be useless to grow with and would just wast your time and money how bout not talking about it and just throw a goddamn pic up i hate trying to work out pictures with words is just dont work

Yes.......but......I've encountered loads of people who ask the same question.......and the answer will always be the same.....halogen lamps simply do NOT work......end of...
