My avitar is a Northern Lights Auto grown under a 600 watt LED

I really love this strain! It yeilded 8 ounces from one seed.

QUESTION: for some reason the odor was not very strong... do other growers get a very strog odor from Northern Lights Auto?

Got lots of compliments on the high.

So I had another thread in grow room setup that showed my stealth speaker box and what it looked like. Got my Herbies order a few days ago and immediately germinated just one seed with the paper towel method... Popped within 24 hours and planted into HAPPY FROG soil that I obtained from a local hydro shop for $16! Can't beat that price!!
Within 48 hours she's up and looking beautiful! I plan to document and journal my grow with pics in hopes to get feedback / advice and pass on any info to others . Never hurts to help the next guy! Also I have another speaker that's identical that I may sell in the future to someone who wants to make a similar or same setup! Just got 1 plant. So you can follow my thread and my journey to see what results I get out of it :) hoping for the best! :)))
hi i am working on my grow room to start my 1st grow but i wasnt sure what was a good soil to grow marijuana
is happy frog itself good enough and also what are some nutrients that are really good for the plant

Northern Lights is desirable for indoor growing in part because of its subtle odor. I wouldn't worry about it
I thought the same thing... northern lights auto can go long... mine was around 14 weeks from seed. The monster u see in my avitar... be patient is all ill say.

Best bet is get a microscope off ebay and cut based on the trichromes. I cut when i see the brown trichromes begin popping up and mostly cloudy.

Autos sort of grow on their own timeframe and each plant will be different from the next. They do start out slow it would seem, but after week 4 they tend to grow legs.

Speaking from experience with Northernlights Auto specifically, The best way to know when it is done is by watching the trichromes and the leaves. It grows longer than most autos and the yeilds are unlike most autos (high yeilder) It is one of the most popular strains anytime you look at top sellers on seed sites because of the low odor and the high yeild. I am going back to NLAuto on my next grow. It just makes sense yeild wise and people love it. Even though it doesnt smell very much when you pop open the bag.

Don't rush the cure... I found that the last of the 8 ounces was the best smoke because it had cured for a good while.

does northern lights standard feminized seeds grow like the auto, other than the need to switch light cycles to force flower?,, meaning still low smell and high yield ,, ect ect

'Normal' NL genetics are nearly pure indica. Some phenos stick to 1 cola some branch out to Xmas tree shape.
Low-odor, high yield. Potent. Resilient and pretty hardy strain.

Feminized seeds will probably vary a little, and not all seed companies' versions of NL are alike so do some research if it's really important to you.

Hows your NL looking now?

I just harvested 2 of my NL autos. Got 88g off one and the other is still drying.
I still feel as something is wrong and I'm not sure how to pinpoint it ... Like I said April 6th is when she first popped up from the dirt. I've posted several pics here in hopes someone can tell me she looks alright or I'm doing something wrong...

Temps with lights around 80-84
Lights out 73-77
18/6 light cycle
Water only when can stick finger in about 3 inches and dry
Using bottled spring water
Happy frog soil

mine took 93 days from sprout to harvest. But yours look extremely small for 2 months old man something is definitely wrong. But from the info you gave i cant tell what your doing wrong.

What kind of lighting you using? What size are the containers she's in?

She's a little over a month old.... 6 cfl lights 3 gallon pot inside a speaker cabinet. Temps never drop below 72 and highs of 84
18/6 light schedule

That's what I was thinking too .... Dang . Well guess I'll just wait it out and see what happens.... I got 4 more seeds after this to et it right .... I prepped and planned and I'm just not sure what I'm doing wrong. First experience with autos ... I've grown bubbalicious and super skunk before no problems. I thought maybe it was an auto thing or maybe just a bad seed. I'm hoping anyways. The pot I got was one of those you can water from the bottom... Don't think I like that so next grow gonna get a regular and maybe mix a little perlite into the happy frog

It still seems like this is way too slow of growing .... :/ April 8th was seedling start and its May 1st now. ... Any ideas?
maybe some co2 might speed it up u can make a small co2 pump for the cheap hell if you have yeast and sugar there ya go small grow space so it would not take much maybe a small container and a small lamp by it to warm the mix of yeast sugar and water and it should foam and create co2
