After I water I rake the top edges of my soil for oxygen to my plants.... I've been using bloom nutes for the past two weeks with 3 days water and one day nutes then repeat.... been bending and staking my girls to faning out........ I got these as clones .... pics will be in order as 1st day I got them then 2 still in veg then 2 in flower room for the past 4 days....... tell me what u think thx......

2.5gal everyday seems like a whole lot to me. I usually water less every 4 days. (unless of course u mean 2.5gal in total for all plants, but still everyday seems like alot)

which nutes are u using for bloom? Im using fox farms trio but im not happy with them at all, looking for something different.

Your space is dirty. Its gross. Get a table and a garbage can or bucket in there. Also if your feeding you may want to prop the plants up on something non absorbant so the runoff ist reabsorbed causing buildup. Nice sealing work i guess.

Well my plants look very healthy right.... So Iooks like my plants like the water I'm giving them.... my bags that I'm growing in have holes all over, so when I water the water pours out of the holes into my drain system.... then the remaining water left in the pans I have the bags in Drys up adding humidity to my room....and my nutes... here is a pic

As for my room looking dirty it's my concrete floor.... I sheetrock my room then mud and taped it.... the rest of what you see is left over glue and carpet pad stuck to the floor.... these two rooms user to be real rooms and I took the carpet out so it would not get wet and mold.... and the beer cans.... Well nothing wrong with a few beer cans laying around

Water way less often..
Do my plants look like they are dieing from over watering.... they don't to me.... I am learning from a guy who gets a lb per plant and this is how he tells me to do things so I will follow. Thx for the input though

it's obvious that you don't really want to hear what we think, instead you want to hear everything looks great and life will be good.

so when you start developing signs of over watering (which you will eventually using that much water daily) we will say "told you so"

then to defend the honest criticism that your room is mess with dead leaves and empty beers cans that will attract bugs and/or disease

best of wishes....you will need it :)

Well I have been watering them like this for over 3 weeks... you would think if they were not getting oxygen they would show signs right? And I'm on my way with a garbage bag right now.... Thx for your thoughts.... I will clean it up.... that's why I made this thread.... because I want to hear from others.... sorry if I offend anyone

All clean now.... don't know what a guy can do about all the white joint compound on the floor or if it even matters? And I'll try to find some grates or something I can place in the bottom of my grow pans so I can lift them from the remaining runoff that dose not drain....Thx guys keep the criticism coming.

okay, looking better :)

lets say you were putting in new flooring (hardwood or tiles)...what would a professional do? is there no way to scrap the compound flat (not knowing as I'm not a handyman)

anyhow, you could paint with white floor paint, if would be easier to keep clean and helps with reflection of light

next suggestion is to get all electrical cords off the floor, as it's a fire & electrocution risk easily avoidable.... secure all electrical cords to the wall, which also ensures you don't trip over them

cheers

Ok thx I will tie rest of my cords up.... and for the floor I will have to wait until harvest so I can clean the whole room to prepare for paint.... witch is a great idea.... I am a carpenter so the best I can do is wet the floors down and scrub them with a stiff brush and shop vac up, let dry and paint.... I assume I should use flat white?

Concrete would be best for the floors. If the joint compound has hardened just take a putty knife and scrape it off

Tile has grout and unless sealed and scrubbed regularly if not the grout lines will take on mold. Wood flooring is wood... Very absorbent and in a grow room facing water and constant moisture will eventually rot the flooring. Concrete will keep the room cooler and will absorb water with less maintanence required

sounds like a good plan

flat paint does reflect light the best, but I'm not sure what's best for floor paint, as the reflection value is not as important as the functionality/ability to clean up easily...so i would just use a good quality floor paint
