You guys got it all wrong there's dank in texas certain areas have it certain areas just have OK Kush then there Is the mid grade stuff A.K.A Korn which was dank but no longer is due to careless growers it gets you high but you have to smoke like 2 bowls to get high from it. Dank is in the richer areas in other words you have to buy from a white person in the suburbs if you want your cali grade bud, austin is the bud capital of texas. The one time I found Skywalker OG in TX was in austin, that's where there is nothing below dank.
Huh? Im in poor ass oak cliff and everybody has dank out here

Mexico or holland...... for beer American beer sucks same with Canada Chinese and Thai have good beer though just can't find them anywhere but restaurants.

As for weed I'm sure Amsterdam and Spain are just as good but most their best shit came from the US.
The best beer in the world is in the United States. We also have the best cannabis, it is not even close.
The city of San Diego alone makes better beer than most of the world.

There was better weed in Colorado in the 1990s than Holland. With medical and recreational I doubt Holland has been able to keep up.

There are better versions of Belgium style beers brewed all over the USA.
Germans mostly make lagers, which are not that great.

I have yet to find an IPA from anywhere that can compare to a solid American IPA.

CO, CA and OR have amazing cannabis that I would put up against any in the world.

name better copies of hoegaarden, leffe, chimay, la chouffe, rodenbach, rochefort. i spent over 6 months in belgium and it has by far the best beer in the world. in a country of only 12 million.

have you tried rauchbier, altbier, weizenbier, kolsch from Germany? lager is the breakfast beer of Germany.

I am not a fan of Begium style,so I do not seek it out.
Wheat/white beers? It is easy to make a great wheat/white beer. There is not much room for greatness in wheat beers.
I pretty much only drink beer that is made from water, barley and hops.

Smoke beer is flat disgusting.
You listed wheat/white beers and a lager. Rauchbier is okay, but there are better red ales all over the USA.

like you, i can't stand IPA's and i don't drink them.

there is really not a belgium style.
you should try a Weihenstephan wheat beer. they've only been making it since 1040. then tell me what US beer is even close if it's so easy to make.

and then you say smoke beer is disgusting but rauchbier is OK. rauch is German for smoke.

IPAs are my favorite style and probably the style that allows for the most greatness.

I meant Altbier is okay and there are much better red ales in the USA.

Wheat beers are a joke.
The difference between the best wheat beer in the world and an average on is not that huge.
The best wheat beer in the world? That is like being the best hockey player in Djibouti. Same thing with lagers.

I would take an average IPA over a great wheat beer.

I like your style, Trousers, but the suggestion that Americans can brew better Belgian beer than the Belgians themselves is insane. Visit the country the next time you're in Europe. There are hundreds of 'national' beers to choose from.

Like you, I'm a huge fan of pale ales. Over the last few years, microbreweries have popped up all over the UK, some are rank, others are delicious. The hoppier the better, imo.

EDIT: On reflection, 'insane' is a strong word. Perhaps 'misguided' is more appropriate.

totally agreed. did a lot of business in Namur. on fridays, i would go to the local grocery store and buy any beer i'd never tried before. there are so many that don't get exported it's not funny.

Are you based in Brussels, or are you just visiting? I've always wanted to pub crawl through Belgium.

This. There are literally hundreds that never see the light of day outside Belgium, and all the exports are pretty average.

I'm British, but grew up in Brussels. My mother still lives here, so I hop over every few weeks for the weekend to drink beer, I mean to see my mom.

Do the pub crawl. In the Grand Place (center of the old town in Brussels) you're surrounded by old pubs with floor-to-ceiling bottles of beer to choose from. Great little country.
