What will happen now that you've broken it like. Will that help keep her short. My two bag ladies here are indica and I need to keep them short also. I've already topped the biggest one. Didn't really slow growth that much but have noticed some. Stealth is very important due to where I live.

No problem I'm a vet and suffer from bad insomnia and sweats and a ton of other shit. The reason for all this so to speak, besides loving the bud porn and info so post away.
Haven't had any good express since I moved from Hawaii. Had a local grower there who had been doing it for decades nice shack back of the beach of north shore on Oahu. Guy grew some of the best smoke I've ever had

The first pic I posted was the most recent after she recovered. It took literally 2 hours and she was back thriving again as you can see. That was close to the very beginning of flowering and the stretch got too much so I took certain necessary measures to insure the most light coverage.

Its always best if you start early. If you are going to top, go ahead and train as well. Tie all the branches down so they can only grow to be a certain height. There is a lot of info on this site and others about supercropping, lst, topping and more. Find what works best for your situation. I'm not in a legal state either and I grow in a closet in a 1 bedroom apartment, but have optimum growing conditions due to proper planning and design.

There are a lot of things that go into keeping a plant short, with the most common being low stress training (lst).

So I'm starting to see. The upside is I have a more isolated location to move to if I have to. It's just to far to visit when I want but it's at a relatives in the remote countryside. 16hrs of pure Southern Sun.

Not a vet, but bad insomnia. My mind never shuts down without assistance. Today I've been catching up on the final bit of work that I had missed due to illness and I only work Mon - Fri so tomorrow will be cake even if I haven't slept.
Then again, being an IT admin has its perks and my job is like second nature.

This one that I grew out is stronger than the last. Smoking a joint of this will literally put you on stupid. I needed to get out of the house the other night and went for a drive and smoked a whole joint of this bud and I ended up having to pull over for a min. Its crazy strong, but racy and I like it.

I should probably smoke the indica I have (aurora indica) and go to bed but eh. LoL

Do Autos handle this kind of training well? The autos I'm using are said to work well outside.

The great thing about proper training is not only does your plant stay short, but you yield more as well.

I'm looking at have all solid tops on that plant.

Yes, autos do well with training, but you have to be pretty quick with them as some like to flower pretty quick.
Check out this page of mine. Here is an auto that I grew

Oh wow very, very, nice my guy. Very nice. Those were some big autos. The ones I'm growing Dedoverde haze, which literally means (greenthumb) is supposed to be a big yielding auto. Hope it looks that good it's from Humbolt seeds.

Thanks, that was some powerful smoke as well. They grow fast and that was on 18/6 the whole run but as you could see the stalk on that girl and how I had to train her. That plant provided some excellent pictures. LoL
