First grow northern lights x big bud

Gonna be taking photos from start to finish
Start date was may 5th and I currently plan to harvest on July 1st
This was a freebie seed. 9 days old from seed sprout

4 6500k 42 watt/2800 lumens per light.
I try to keep humidity between 50-70 mostly 70 throughout out the day and lower at night.
Temps are +80 degrees all day and high 70's at night.

I think I'm going to stick with four I want as much light as possible. The plant seems to like the extra light anyways.

Congrats, you should have a monster on your hands if everything goes right. My regular NLA was a beast, and ive recently seen many people have great success with NL's.

I think you need to add another month to your time horizon. With CFL you may need even more time... 3+ weeks for veg and 8 weeks in flower. They're done when they're done and not before..

Do yourself a huge favor and get a usb microscope to inspect the trichomes. Whenever we are growing from seed and constantly growing different plants from different sources it's hard to know exactly how long they will take. If it was a cut that you grew all the time you'd have it dialed in and have a good idea of timing..

This is a great strain though.. I'm on my 3rd or fourth run of NL/BB..

Yea I rarely have to water though cuse I have very slow draining soil.

Thanks for the advice that was just a rough estimate for now. I do have a jewelers microscope so that should work well. Got any pics of your nl x bb grows?

Update: Still battling the fungus gnats . Just put a layer of food grade DE on the soil so far so good..... I hope. I have a feeling Ima be battling fungus gnats throughout out the whole grow.

Hey mouse, I couldn't help but notice you got your cfl's vertical when you could be getting a lot more light with them horizontal. I also have to agree with kenneth in that 4 at this point is kinda overkill but to each his own. I like the q-tip you've tied your plant too haha quite innovative. Good luck.

Are you doing the entire grow with CFLs? Ive been growing a while with strictly CFLs.

I use 650w of T8s and CFLs for my plants. If you decide to complete your grow with CFLs i could help you out. Just ask any questions you might have and id be glad to try and help u out.
