I have a friend that told me to burn twice a week for two hours.... I just wanted others input to see if I was close to what others would do.... if it dose not improve I will burn more.... btw this is my 1st grow.... So I'll get it down soon.... thx guys!!!!!!

Just make sure that while you are burning, all of your fans are off. I think 8 hours is a bit more than is necessary as has been mentioned, but that also has to do with the grow area itself. If you have a 4x8 tent with all the fans off and you burn for 2 hours, your concentration may be high enough. If you are in an open room that doesn't seal well, that is a different story. I almost had an issue with PM at a previous grow, but the vaporizer solved it the first time I tried it. I burned for 3 hours and then left the fans off for another hour or so after. I never had a problem again. I also use ozone generators. Not only do they remove the smell in the air, but they also kill any spores that are there too.

Basically, you want a good concentration in the room regardless if it takes 2 hours or 8 hours. One dose if done properly will suffice. If you "need" to do a burn during flower to save a crop, you will want to look into that nasty ass water curing method (it makes ganja gross and is for morons that aren't smart enough to monitor RH). That is the only way to wash it off IF you have to use it.

Any time brother. It may not be just the RH, but also the temps while the lights are off. Make sure you water when the lights first turn on and try to get the RH even lower if possible. Low RH never hurts anything, just makes them drink more. Other than that, maybe you want to look into an ozone genny just to "clean" the air.

I have a couple of these:

It is not a large expense, but will kill the spores and the smell. You will need to get a basic cycle timer to run it. On for X amount of time, off for X amount of time. That type of unit. I have never had to run them for more than 30 mins on and 40 off IIRC (it is a set it and forget it type of thing) unless I have some REALLY stinky strains. Check it out and see what you think.

Check temperature. That is if you have air flow and a reasonable amount of humidity. Mildew thrives in 60-70F

Well my plants are in bags.... the bags are in trays.... I have a drain system hooked up to the trays.... but my drain is above the bottom of the bottom of the tray.... So I all ways have like 1/4 inch of water always in my trays that sits there.... So I drilled some holes in the fitting and attached it from the underside with some caulk and screws.... So now all the water will drain and not sit there.... witch is where I think the pm started....

The trays I got were ment to leave the excess water in the tray but I just fixed them myself
All that they will do is provide a place for things to breed. Bugs and mold love standing water. Keep your garden clean and tidy. Sweep at least once every week and don't leave any place for bugs or mold to breed.
