Anyone on here gone back to school as an adult?

I woul love nothing more than to prove alot of nahsayers wrong and do that. The mj movement could use a patient/dr but the schooling involved would be 10 plus years easy. Thats a daunting task for someone in my position.

My best friend is a plumber he has i should take electrical. My other friend is an electrician and he says take pluming. I dont think id be happy doing either one. Horticulture would be fun but i havent seen it offered near me and i dont know about the potential $$$ or jobs associated with it.

Ive asked both many many times to hire me but both said i will make them look bad so they wouldnt do it.
We used to all work together
I never used to take breaks and often worked through lunch.

Ive worked in alot of environments where time is major money. So if a customer is losing thousands of dollars an hour being down i felt guilty stopping for a ham sandwhich and gossip lol.
I know i know what an ass i am....bosses loved me co workers wanted to shiv me in the neck

I'm not talking about a single phase electrical or hvac systems. If you don't use you head. you're dead.
Good companies want/require you to take breaks.
No one needs a liability on their hands.

I was not an electrician nor did i work while tired.
I assure you my bosses were more than happy.
A guy i worked for ten yrs ago called me last week asking me if i needed work.

Well there you go. You have work with out even trying or going back to school.
Apprentices with no experience are not paid well and they are worked hard.

Something else that popped into my head is a CNC operator/machinist.

I used to be a machinist/toolmaker.. gets boring after a while..
