Is this a new movie? Or is this the OG?

I haven't even seen a commercial for the new movie!

Good though? I'm excited to see it NOW!
New. I thought it stayed w/ the concept of the original, but even better
No, I'm sick of Hollywood trying to cash in on the popularity of old movies because they're too lazy to write anything new.
True. I've all but quite going to movies b/c of this and the prices are now just ridiculous for third rate recycled crap. However, every ONCE in awhile a remake is worth seeing: (True Grit).

So is this Mad Max a remake or are they trying to continue the story?

Remake. But Charlize Theron's character is new (I'm not a HUGE MM fan, just like the original when it came out, so if her character was in the first one sorry)

What I also liked about this movie is that they smartly handled the interaction between the heroine and the hero as a partnership, Not the same, tired formula of the bad assed female action hero single handedly kicking men's asses all day long while making disparaging comments about men in general.

They did have the mandatory scantily clad group of helpless hot girls, but not overly obnoxious. It fit with the story. It's basically all non stop road battles, but it kept me entertained. For 2 hours of pretty much basic plot line and non stop car chases. It was great.

Good to hear this movie rocked, I thought it would suck. Theron is so luscious, I even sat through her and Keanu Reeves in Sweet November. That movie would have been Oscar worthy if it were him dying instead of her. I did see the new Avengers, I liked it a lot more than the first movie. I torrent everything, so it's not a huge loss when something sucks, I simply stop watching, turn on porn, and rub out another one...

The theater here in town still doesn't have it. I'm going out of town to see it this weekend, I'm a huge Mad Max fan and I've heard nothing but good things about the movie.

I can't wait for the game either, it looks really good.
