The only Train Wreck I've grown was Purple Train Wreck and was not impressed with it.....come to think of it.....I tossed it before it finished.

High THC content does not equal "best". The high is going to depend on more than just THC %. It involves terpenes and cannabinoids. Different mixes and percentages combined give different effects. A high THC% does not necessarily mean a strong high. Plus everyone looks for something different in their high. Good luck finding your strain, it will probably take a lot of growing and sampling but there are a lot of great strains available nowadays.
And we have a winner!!! High has nothing to do with THC content. Let's say you smoke some 25% THC strain that after 3 hits makes you want to go take a nap. That's good? Now let's pretend you just smoked some low THC, pure Sativa strain. Some Sativas have no "ceiling" so the more you smoke, the higher you get. Your mind will be racing after a few hits! The difference in high between a pure Indica and a pure Sativa can't be measured with science.

We've all smoked weed that makes our face go numb and makes it so you can't think straight. A pure Sativa won't cloud you mind, it will stimulate it. Here's the thing though, unless you're over 50 years old I doubt you've ever smoked a true land-race Sativa. Let me explain... Most commercial growers are in it for the money. Why would you grow a strain that grows 14ft tall, takes 14 weeks to finish and then only produces half as much? You wouldn't, and no one else would either. In the shops around WA you'll find 30 mixed strains and 1 Lemon Haze. They usually get a premium for the Sativa but it just won't offset the extra time/cost involved. Back in the 70's all we had was Sativa strains. I remember smoking some Panama Red that felt like an Acid trip, I shit you not. I remember Acapulco Gold, Columbian Gold and Thai Sticks and I'm telling you, the high was better. Don't believe me? Go buy some land-race seeds and see for yourself...

So I guess what I'm saying is loose the numbers, they just don't matter. The old fashioned concept of high THC seems so old now. People are become aware of THC to CBD ratios and that some CBDs are actually good. What's old is new. Nerds are cool.

Are you an advanced grower ? I say because whatever the strain may be, your ability to maximize its potential will be far more dependent on your skill level in getting the most out of it.

That sounds familiar, gongji! You're spot-on though!

I think the Trainwreck I have(not purple, or Humbolt) kicks serious butt! I, also, have a clone-only strain that is only in Maine called MOB(I think it stands for Mother Of Berry) that is probably my favorite! It has a shorter photo-period(6-7 weeks) and is the tastiest I've had(been weedin' for a very long time)! I, also, must give praise where it's due. OG Kush is a super-stoner high! I won't even smoke that in the daytime, as it puts me down, hard!! And, let's not forget AfroDite, right? She is one bad mamma jamma and sweet as candy!

I'm a vape-monster, as I think, it's the BEST way to really taste what your ganj tastes like. Those first couple hits are the teller!!

Heres the real reason why I even started this thread.
Basically I grow autos, and there quite price. I have narrowed it down to these to beasts Purple Cheese Auto (Autoseeds) and the Lemon Haze Auto(Autoseeds).
BBut this time I would like the freebie to be a photoperiod plant, that way I will always have a plant there if no autos.
So what I wanted was the strongest bud known. Iv read that the Bruce Banner is the most potent strain out there at #1 but this is only available as a cutting? Which I dont understand. So yeah I wanted to see what kind of other strains that I dont know of(there are thousands, too many for me to choose just one!).
Personally, I like Cheese. If grown right it kicks out around 25% thc and has a really nice buzz. Three hits will get you ripped and in an hour or so three hits will get you ripped again (if you really need it). It is a very healthy plant that gives huge yields and clones very well. This is why so many people have mixed other stuff off of her...she kicks ass

Iv got ultra lemon haze auto seeds and as freebies got some OG Kush x Diesel
Got one of both in pots, thinking of taking clones off the OG and go around planting.a bunch in a few outdoor spots, the auto I will see if I can keep it indoor without it being too "HOT" if u know what I mean lol

Barney's farm does have good genetics in my opinion.
But I'm curious, any one grow a strain or strains that have high cbd to a lower THC level?
I have been on the look out for a really good strain that will receive pain, I have chronic arthritis.
Not that I want to give up my high but... What ya think??

This is why I love sour diesel or any heavy sativa. i'll just start spacing out. Hearing stuff, thinking im seeing stuff, etc. It's super enjoyable.

The perception of which ganja is the most potent is entirely subjective.

Different people react differently to a variety of ganja smoke.
It is just like wine connoisseurs arguing about which is the best wine. Or cigar aficionados trying to establish what is the very best cigar on the market.

The elusive holy grail is largely dependent upon just who is seeking it.
IMHO, Therein lies the tremendous fun in seed hunting.
The greatest hobby in the known universe!
thankyou for saying this. the only thing keepin me keepin on is the hopes that i'll find a strain in my lifetime that's romulan at its best in nature,,then i'll be happy!

Just started smoking Sunshine Daydream and have to say that it offers one of the nicest highs around. What I like about it is the taste....like blueberry muffins. I put it right up there to Ghost Train Haze and Blue Dream. It gives a very energetic buzz and while not racey it is hard not to have a shit-eating grin on your face after smoking about 1/2 a joint.

It's a very nice yielding plant to boot.
