Seedling Taking Forever To Grow Help PLEASE

Hello everybody, I embarked on growing an unknown indica seed, germinated with cup of bottled water and then paper towels...Root appeared in two days, I placed the seed in coco and perlite mix, within another two days a sprout appeared...This was 3 weeks ago. My seedling has grown, but I have done alot of research etc, and my seedling seems to be growing extremely slowly...It only has two true leaves, two cotyledons and some weird looking things in the middle, it's growing in a room on its own, enough air flow and water, as well as sunlight I'm leaving it by a well lit door that receives about 3 hours indirect light, 7 hours direct light, and then once it's sunset I leave the room light on...I water it with bottle water...The thing is am I being impatient it has been 3 weeks exact today, and the growth seems very slow... I am new to all this, I am sorry of this is posted incorrectly, will upload a few pics in a bit. Thank you to all.

Sometimes u get seeds like this. Could be anything from the soil being too hot for seedlings to an injured embryo. Hard to tell, but looks like it's getting back on track. All the times it happened to me it usually lost it's growing tip and has to wait until the branches start growing that replaces the defunct growing tip. Good luck

Thank you for your help, the pot it's in does feel hot by the end of the day, what should I do to treat it being to hot? So should I just be patient and it will grow back normally?

Got enough money for Cfl bulbs? Go to home depot, get like 4-6 100 watt equivalent bulbs. 23 actual watts per bulb, so you save money. Buy bulb splitters, they're like $3 at home depot as well.

I actually bought two cfl bulbs and a splitter to put both in, :/ I tried connecting it to my wall plug it just blew lol, so waiting for exams to finish so I can get a study lamp thing and just attach the cfl globes and put it over the plant

Ooooooo. Sucks. Check the watt limit. The ones I'm talking about support 660 watts. Could be light, or bad seed. Is it a seed from a strain you smoked? With good lighting, your plant should have already been getting to about 3-4 nodes, really depends on lighting. If you think you're wasting time, trash it and start from feminized seeds bought online. If I were in your situation, I'd wait a couple days, if I saw growth then I'd stay with it as a project, but outdoors. I have a little girl about 6" outside. Took about a week to get there. So fully outdoors helps too. Then bring it inside. If its in good health that is. I'll follow along to see how it goes for you. Good luck man.

I'll post a pic of the bulbs etc tomorrow, thank you for sticking through, if you see the pics, this Lil projections started growing two days ago, and the plant is moving towards direction of the sun as the day goes on :| so I feel bad to let her go... ps I named her already....she looks healthy just extremely slow growing....I'll keep this thread alive with updates on her, I'll try the outdoor thing maybe it will help. Thanks so much for the input, oh yeah the seed was from a strain I've had very good and very potent

No to hot for seedling is not the temp of the soil it is the nutes in the soil, kinda like sending a teenager to a hooker for his 1st time, it's gonna hurt.

Haha, a stripper. Wow. Good metaphore. Haha. Had me laughing. Bag seed is confusing. I have one right now that is definitely growing. I am yet to buy a guaranteed feminized seed. My bagseed plant now is 7 weeks old, so I hope yours grows. I planted mine outside and after 3 weeks I brought it in. Do you have anything you can put the plant and the lights in? Like a 2x3' or 3x2' tent or box of some sort. To keep temps and your lighting as effective as you can. Better than having one plant in a full room. Have you researched how to grow? If not I can try and lead you to a right way. I don't know everything about soil. I run Hydroponics. But if you get further into soil I know people here can help..

I think there is a problem with the seed genetics... its way to slow...
in my sig i have seeds that sprouted 3.5 weeks ago and i did quite a few things wrong in the begining to make it hard for them but they grew anyway...
my humble advice is to start another seed next to her...most probably the new one will outgrow this one and then you can decide which one to keep.... or you risk waiting to long for e seedling that may not recover...
keep in mind i have no experience but this is my 2 cent. good luck

Yes that too isn't good for the root zone but I was referring to some soils come with ferts in them and it's just to much for the little seedling. Doh! I just saw someone say it..lol

I wouldn't toss it just yet, especially if it comes from good genetics. The beans probably got harvested to early is another cause. I have a original strawberry cough fem from Dinafem that has a similar situation. It's only 2 inches tall but it's almost 6 weeks old! But it's starting to come alive so I can't wait to see if it's anything like the original strawberry cough. Now you wouldn't just toss that in the can because it's slow. My 7 week old blackberry sour diesel is over six feet tall. I make a lot of my own beans, regular and fem, so just mho.

a well lite door is not enough get some t5's don't use bottled water buy distilled and ph drops/meter and watch jorge cervantes ultimate grow
