Why Bitcoin is doomed.

The supply doesn't need to be infinite.
Silver can be recycled from many industrial processes. It is not "consumed" in the sense you're trying to imply.
Nitric acid is an amazing substance (although, not as amazing as water).

18325925790 Ozt ? That supply is going to outlive your dreams of riches. Keep that in mind, too, and as we've seen from Hubbert's Peak, resource estimates have a tendency to change as technology and processes of extraction are developed.

That's not to say there won't be another bubble in the PM markets, but it's not going to the moon for any good reason.

OH...one other thing. In 2019 the harvesting of asteroids begins assuming NASA gets the funding it needs.
SCIENCE!!!!11@!11!11
Nitric acid refining is dirty and it still requires a lot of refining afterwards.

The ROI is way too low, even if you got the input for free.

It won't be too low if your bubble manifests. Remember? You are trying to set up a scenario where silver supply dries up relative to industrial demand.
I'm showing you that won't happen because of recycling capacities.
I'm not sure what this "dirty" refining is, though. Please explain...The stoichiometry doesn't look "dirty" to me. Are you referring to the Nat Gas feedstock or...?

It leaves alot of lead and other undesirables in the "refined" silver, you really need to use an anode/cathode setup to refine your silver afterwards.

Honestly, recycling silver isn't really done and isn't vaguely economical except with sterling silver cutlery, etc which are a high purity to start out with.

The origins of the Internet date back to research commissioned by the United States government in the 1960s to build robust, fault-tolerant communication via computer networks.[2] This work, combined with efforts in the United Kingdom and France, led to the primary precursor network, the ARPANET, in the United States.

Your penis is tiny.

The origins of full scale war go back to government too, should I thank them for bombing villages and raping children?

My penis is a little small....for a horse.

Ehhhh...I don't recall there being much (if any) Lead (Pb) in solar cells. Even the amorphous silicon cells from China with their corner-cutting production standards aren't going to have much (if any) Pb..
Furthermore, what sort of pollution comes from processing ore? Do you honestly think digging fresh Ag is going to be cleaner than recycling solar panels (the original point of technological discussion)?

Again, if this bubble manifests as you suggest there will merely be a shift to Nitric Acid reclamation. The refining won't be any more problematic than fresh ore, and logically, it should be substantially less. Coupled with induction forging techniques (akin to the way silicon is purified) impurities can be "moved" through a column (there is ~600K spread between Ag and Pb melting points). However, as already noted, that situation won't arise in our lifetimes.

i really wish you were american so you could vote for bernie.
Unfortunately, he's not enough of a Jack Layton to really thrill me. However, he is the closest thing to a Soc-Dem you people seem to have unless the Greens get their shit together. To be effective, you're going to need more Soc-Dem reps in Congress/Senate, too. Otherwise, it's still going to be a two-party, median-voter clusterfuck.

That is the wildcard in my logic. I honestly can't predict how he'll be perceived in a post-debate situation, to which I am looking forward to seeing him on that platform, especially if CNN or one of their ilk are using those live-opinion dials with a studio audience. It will be a refreshing change to the usual see-saw of mediocrity.

he is the wildcard, though. just like obama in 2008. you notice how that didn't happen? if you take away the insanity of the right who wouldn't vote for him anyway..there are plenty of voters on the left..way more than the right.

left votes only win elections here now..there are that many of us.

also when it comes down to it..people are going to see there is someone in the political arena who hasn't been bought and refuses to do so..plus i just have this 'feeling' it's gonna be an elizabeth warren running mate..this brilliant man has had quite a bit of time to think..he's our trojan horse.

wait until the righties see what piles out of it:mrgreen:
