you only need to flush if it's organic. There's no need to flush if you're using high quality synthetic nutrient formulas.

Starting off....
Disregard all the assholes who pop in this thread to tell you how to grow YOUR PLANTS.
I start my flush when I see the first ambers on my plants. When I can put a leaf under my scope, look through the scope and see amber without moving around to find an amber, I will go ahead and flush.
If your timing is right, you will have just finished the last burst of growth and your plant is going into a stalling mode.
I will flush thoroughly, put it back under the lights until the planter starts to dry out (3-4 days) then I pull it out and put it into darkness for 3 days.
