Newbie @ Advanced Nutes

The other day I stopped by my local hydro store and I had a few extra bones to waste on shit for my grow lab. Well since I have basically alot of the nutes. I need I decided to finish my nute schedule with: A.N.-Rhino Skin & A.N.-Final Phase. On the sides of these bottles they say to mix 2ml/L and thats it. They dont explain a few different things like: 1)Do I use Rhino Skin in any other weeks besides what stated on the bottle which is weeks 1-6 of flower. When I googled this product, I found that people also give this stuff to there clones/seedlings and for a couple weeks in veg. 2) On the bottle of Final Phase I bought it says to use it in week7 @ 2ml/L and thats it. I want to know in week 7 do I give my soil a flushing of this stuff once every day or every other day or should I just feed them the Final Phase as I would do normally when watering nutes. So basically I just want to get some feed back from anyone who has used A.N. RhinoSkin & Final Phase in a soil grow and what was your schedule/weeks for using them and how much did you use & how often??

in my opinion you shouldnt buy rhino skin, its way over priced and botaniares silica blast is the same thing and way cheaper and works very well. that's what i use. I do use AN and im not someone that flames on people who buy from them but im just telling you my thoughts on that particular additive. also clearex will give you the same results as final phase for alot cheaper. i do use bud candy and bigbud though and they seem to work pretty well. i use them doing the lucas formula with gh's micro and bloom but just bought some AN sensi bloom to try for my second grow. i am about to harvest my first one in a week or 2. also overdrive seems to do pretty well from what im seeing and may be worth the investment if you have the extra funds.

also. i use my silica blast "which is basically rhino skin..." "potassium silicate" as soon as i get roots on my clones and then use all the way until flush before harvest. i have heard people say with final phase. use it for 6 hours and then for the rest of the flush period just use plain water "dont ph balance" no need to balance ph because you dont want your plant taking in any more nutes. i hope this helps somewhat. like i said im on my first grow and this is what i have learned.
i grow aero and with silica blast i just eye it with a dropper. i would say around a teaspoon per gallon, and with final phase just follow the directions which i believe would be 8ml per gal.

EmptyWords thanks for your input on my situation. I also am not a big promoter of Advanced, because I feel some of there products like you said are way over piced. I mainly use FoxFarm products (which have worked wonders on my garden & strains) but I figured I try these couple things out. Ill right down the Bonicare products you listed above and once its time to re-up the nute selection I give them a look. Thanks for your input. Anyone else on here that could lend me their feeding schdule for these products, that would be awesome.

I'm going to 1-up you and recommend ProTekt from Dyna-Gro. It has 4 times the amount of silica for the same price.

Silica strengthens stems, leaves and cell walls. I've found that mites have a harder time attacking plants when I use protekt. Silica supposedly increases the hardiness of a plant, making it more tolerant of heat, cold and drought. I would not use it to clone.

yea the rhino skin was kid of a waste but you already have it so might as well put it to great use. you can use the final phase in the last week of flower for soil. some people say 2weeks before harvest but i see no need in that.

Ya you know what I almost picked up that Dyna gro brand but I put it back and figured what the fuck Id go with the advanced nutes. But Ive used dyna gro products in the past and for them being the cheapest (in price) of most brands they do have great results. Thanks for the input guys

just as you are not a fan of an. i feel the same way about humbolt. last week having a few extra bucks i bought some duece duece from homebolt. first part of the directions say when using in hydro apllication. well i didnt like the results of it and asked the company why this and that might have happened. my response from them was they do not in no way shape or from recommend using it in hydro. they make a hydro duece that i should have used instead. if you look on their website it states it there also to use duece duece in a hydro. how do you sell a product and give direction when it is not intended to be used that way. the worse part is unless i change the way i grow i am stuck with a bottle of shit i cant use and the hydro store wont take it back because it was opened and used.
if you cannot follow the label how are you suppose to know how to use the product?

I use silica blast. I use it in veg up until about flowering time. I think it builds a plant up, but I like to start backing it off to zero by flower. Why? Just think its done its job by then. In flowering, I make sure to leave time for a 2 week plain water flush. I can use the flush product money for something more beneficial.
