True, the only issue is when we make feel good policy without thinking it through. California is trying to make bathrooms and locker rooms a choice by gender identification. This is cool as long as they are smart about it (they might be, I don't know one way or the other). I know without a doubt half of the guys in my graduating class would have claimed transgender to use to the girls locker rooms. Hormones are a helluva drug.

Getting back to the kids, when I was 13 this would have been awesome. When the daughter is 13, it's panic inducing. Parents are not the most rational when it comes to their own.

I think we should distinguish between a womans bathroom & a little girls bathroom , little girl rooms generally apply to schools or places where children are predominant.

With that said the appropriate choice would be to use the adult bathrooms in the building & avoid the childrens facilities all together, just as any adult should , i dont care how adults dress or where they shit & piss but childrens bathrooms are never the right choice, regardless of genitalia.

Your right it dont hurt nobody , if the trans is dressed as a female then they should use the adult female bathroom , if dressed as a man then the mens room is the appropriate place .
