I think I accidentally put too much liquid seaweed in. I probably put 8 teaspoons of seaweed and a couple teaspoons of unsulphered mollasses and some earthworms. Does it look too dark. And it kinda has a weird molasses, fish smell. Isn't it suppose to smell like "rich"

I always dilute my aact. Should smell like earth
Really? I hear so many different methods on this, some dilute, some don't, I figure diluting doesn't hurt it, provided the added water is all good. I have a relatively small grow though, so I just give them a pure dose.
I always do mine full-strength.
Do you have other nutrients in yours?
Mine is essentially dirt-tea.. well, compost/EWC/speck of BSM.. tea.

Should I just dillute it like 1 to 1 with water when I go to feed
How much water did you initially start with?
Kelp does smell fishy, for sure. I prefer to keep my nutrient teas separated from my AACT.. kelp delays microbial activity. It's certainly not bad.. but to get all the other good stuff i'd use a kelp meal over bottled.
A good nute tea, alfalfa meal, kelp meal, hydrolyzed fish and BSM (only if you need the extra potassium)
AACT is, worm castings/or compost, water, and a speck of BSM.

I start with five gallon buckets just under Hal full. Than 2 heaping tbsp bsm. 3 cups fresh Ewc. Nothin else. This seems to really do well. Seems very alive. My theory is the high ratio of castings / gallon h20 create larger boost in the mirco herd. This diluting should just press it out right before use. And yes I have. 72 plant rotation. Easier to strain. Dilute by fillin the bucket up rest of the way and go. And I do a slight nutrient tea on opposite weeks as the aact.

shit... one of the MANY reasons I don't go bigger... really hard to spoil all the plants..
72 is a good amount.. makes my hands hurt just thinking of the trim job ya got
most I ever have flowering at once is 12 plants.
maybe 15 if i'm strain-huntin

Fingers are fine. It's my neck that gets all kinked and fuxked up.
ahh, I've been there... got a FUBARed back...
what I do, is get some good background tv, (I like stand-up comedy, or adult-cartoon, south park, American dad, family guy, etc.
Then I lay on my back, get three big old paper plates, one with untrimmed nugs, the other the trim, and the last the finished nugs.
Just lay down, put your buds on your stomach and go to town.
---this description makes me sound like a huge fat lazy whale For the record, i'm 6'4" and 200 lbs.. just got a shitty back from wrestling, football, judo, baseball, basketball, and falling from trees

Haha I can picture myself in the hammock with a giant blunt buds all over my stomach calling it a day. Lol. Might have to try that. I usually just get the straightest back chair and some tunes.

ive made a couple of teas already and all of them smelled exactly how the amendments smelled. depends on what you add to your teas, it will produce that same aroma to what ive seen. i always dilute them too to 1:1 tea/water ratio, when i do dilute i make sure i add the water 30min at least before i turn my brewer off for various reasons. all your teas should foam up ( every type of tea ive done has foamed up ), even tho ive heard the foam doesn't mean anything.... i see it as a good sign that youre doing something right haha. goodluck man stay lifted!! :bigjoint::peace::leaf:

man, the thought of trimming in a straight-back chair?!
Shit, I may hang up my growing-thumbs if I had to trim that way...
Ouch.
I admit, my method is probably less than 100% efficiency, but for a max of maybe 2-4 lbs (and cool thing about NOT having a mono-crop, is different ripening times)
SO I never have to really do more than three plants at a time, so around about 18oz or a lb, I do have some girl scout cookies that throws my yield number waaay down (fuck that strain) so each, "min-harvest" isn't a big ass pain to trim.
Basicly, I grow 12 or nine plants, three strains each (or four smaller) so they all mature at different rates, some are close to each other, so I pair those with other faster strains to lessen my "trim-load"
trimming is my LEAST favorite thing about growing...
by FAR.. with mites at a second place.. :finger:
If I monocropped (I have) it's a whore.
you get 3-4 lbs all at once. Hard to even dry that much at once.
I really like my current method of the three different maturation times.
Plus it's pretty awesome to get three new ones each third harvest or fourth, right now i'm trying to get it down to 12 strains...
I got a problem with decisions..

How much hydrolysate are you using grease?

Ok so when I make tea I add oxygen via aquirum pump and a soda can air diffuser. As for my recipe search dwc root slime cure aka how to breed beneficial microbes, that's a easy tek that saved my first dwc. The whole treads a good read
