Don't get a portable ac, they cool but 1/2 as efficient as a window ac and are 2x the cost, I was thinking about a portable but decided against it. I have my light cycle at night with no ac and I run ac during the day on the night cycle. I have the ac and Dewey on a timer now to run for 30on/60off. Then the exhaust fans come on for 15 minutes every 3 hrs during the last 15 minutes before the ac comes on again. Working well, 68-70 during the day, 82max lights on, and uses like 2kwh of electric per day, cheap and effective.

That I am looking at is a mini split, or a window unit vented out the sofet.

Mini split would be my number 1 choice, much more efficient than the best window unit, but pricey, window units also work well but a tad less efficient, I'd say they use 25% more electric to cool the same, but they are adorable. I have a 8600btu that cools a 12x20 room easily, but the room is pretty well sealed, it only cost like 250$ which I figured was cheap if it worked, and it did it's been about 95-100 degrees here the past few days, here's the kicker, my central ac for the house doesn't work ugh, to call the landlord or not to call, that is the question lol

I REALLY want a mini split like that Doc. I saw one that also had a heater unit built into it for the winter. It would be perfect for me since I already have to run a heater. That's one of my next steps. We are about to talk to our landlords about buying this place we are in. They offered to do a rent to own for us at one point so we gotta see if its still an option. If we do then I might go ahead and pull the trigger on some upgrades.

Mini split is the way to go but I'd get a 1 ton Doc. Added heat of cement radiating heat, plus metal garage door? I have a 1 ton in my room and wish I got 1.5 for reference.

Lucky you I wish I had windows in it. I would've got an old cheap window ac in a heartbeat to cool it down.



You cut a hole in wall to vent put the warm air for the ac? Man I'm thinking of doing the same but I don't have a clue as to where I may do it or what lol. I've been looking all round the garage and everything just thinking of what I could do to get this heat vented out somehow but can't think of anything.

I agree next year I'm getting one of those for the garage. I had never heard of one till @Joedank just referred it to me and I had to go look it up lol. Can set one of those up very easily with the lines fitting right under the garage door. Hell may have one setup by the end of July which still will be good and I'll have it for the future. Appreciate the reference

C99 top WI second Malana and Rude Dog, SW7 and BMS clones.
The Malana seedlings are an example of "big" seed co's over extended
genetics. All are 2 weeks old popped the same day, same soil and water
not anywhere near the same vigor.

Just transplanted 28 plants that desperately needed it. I will have to get 2 more coco bricks tomorrow to finish. Got a bunch more clones this week and if it keeps going like this I am going to need a bigger mother room.
