some of you know me around here, I have been flowering a couple of small plants under my 2 cree cobs for the past month, I inherited them from a friend and they were already in flower, my box wasnt doing anything, so I gave them a home and they are really finishing nice,
here are the questions for you cxa cob guys who have ran crops
1. how many inches above the plants do you put your cxa cobs, ( i have mine around 15 inches above the cola)
2. are there differant heights for the cobs during flower and veg

I am getting some more clones after I harvest these little girls, and the clone will be early Teen and in fox farms soil

Keeping a foot to 16" is probably the sweet spot.....especially @ 1400mA.....

You could run them as close as 6" or so...but not advised...even @1A...I don't even run them that close until late in flower....

How big is you cab again Tim? Full spec...I can calculate your PPFD...sort of...Mars will be a guess....for Veg I would try to get them at least 18"......

2 foot deep, 3 foot wide, six feet tall, the Mars light is off right now, that would be good to get some estimates on ppfd I will turn the Mars on also on the next crop, do you think just turning the Mars on during flower, would be advisable?

subbed. this is something I am looking at as well. So common consensus is that 16 inches is normal, late in flower go close? Veg about 18 inches??

I run 4x cbx3070 at 1400

Almost 8 weeks, so I would say its plausible for fade....whats your feed schedule like?
I am watering about every 4 days, ( sometimes 3 days) View attachment 3438752 I purchased one of those moisture meters you stick in the soil , and I let it get almost dry between waterings, I am using general hydroponics maxi bloom, and Calmag and silica, mixing it to recomended for 1 gallon,

picture of the moisture meter I am using to gauge when I should water,, I must say I am enjoying growing in soil, I love not having to baby sit the plants, I love not having to change out nut res everyweek, I used to grow in hydro years ago in my garage, but with the grow box in my bedroom, its so quiet with soil, and not hauling around 10 or 20 gallons across the carpet is kinda nice , I purchased stuff to do a small hydro set up,, i may in the future , but for now its fox farms ocean forrest
