I didn't think about hair :wall:in the air. Yesterday, I was thinking that I will have to go over each bud and de-hair:cuss: it every time I want a bowl.
But what the heck, new to growing in and out. Just another lesson learned.
Next time, will be using screen that they use on screen doors to cover the entrance. :leaf:

Yea i pick at buds ever since i saw hair/fabric its like OCD. and i know what u mean its costly when u get ripped off from tweekers who sell it and smoke it and have (traffic) for 4 months straight after a month it was stollen. the sencers are a cheaper alternitive but the birds flying around can also trigger them at 4am LOL not fun

Hello,
Sunday one of my Donkey Kong broke, but there is hope. I took several cuttings.
We will see, if I can salvage something out of a this learning experience.
The DK broke pic is whats left.

On a happier note, the rest of the garden look great to me.
Hey @Mohican, The tomato pics have afghan x black dominia x skunk.

They look great.
Its great that you can put a hoop house.
On the mold issue, going to try GREENCURE or potassium bicarbonate, if my buds start moulding.
I put some on plants with PM, treated a couple of times, gone.

No worries man you're welcome. To be honest though, I've found thinning and training the plant as well as bud structure and finish times, to be more effective with the mold. Not so sure the serenade or actinovate is better. Regular EWC tea seems to also keep the plant more vibrant and mold resistant too. I've grown and worked on farms from mendo to the valley, and the valley and coast range have to deal with mold alot so I base alot of my outdoor strategy around that. Banking on those 7 weekers finishing in time, but we'll see!

let me look into my crystal ball..... actually looking like an el nino coming so wet winter/fall/spring. My strains are supposed to start being done in the end of august/early september. That would mean they start flowering end of june/ early july or in my case, probably as soon as I shut off the T5.

Does a hoop house with fans and clear visqueen plastic really help with mold since it keeps rain directly OFF the buds? my strains are 7 and 8 week ones

It buys you some time, but the wet night air and cloudy days eventually brings the mold, maybe a week or so if they can't dry out. Soon as that temp drops and the sun goes away it doesn't even matter if it doesn't rain, the plants slow wayy down. I'm going to build some high sided covers for each individual plant in the end get as much airflow as I can and keep the dew off. T posts and PVC. Aim for end of september at the latest. Of course if I was 200 miles south I'd perhaps get another few weeks in the end.
