I just posted all the picturesthats to hot... should try to never go above 85 deg... photosynthesis slows down dramatically! 78-79 is my magic number
when your extractor fan kicks on where is it drawing air from?
Yesso is the other end of your hood open?
Yes I am using lights at night. And I had to use a reducer I could not cut a bigger hole into the Ceiling and I have a 6 inch fan but all that would fit up there the whole that was there was a 4 inchKeep the entire exhaust pipe the same diameter all the way through, if you have to put a reducer at the hood not the ceiling. Where is the thermometer placed? Are you using lights at night?
Here is a picture of where my Thermometers are I have two of them I just bought the one hanging in the front todayKeep the entire exhaust pipe the same diameter all the way through, if you have to put a reducer at the hood not the ceiling. Take the thermometer out of the light! Shade it from the top to get an actual reading. You want the air temperature of the room not the temp of the canopy. Here is a picture of where my Thermometers are I have two of them I just bought the one hanging in the front todayView attachment 3442541 View attachment 3442542 View attachment 3442541 View attachment 3442542 View attachment 3442543

I always read that it's best to suspended in the canopyTake the thermometer out of the light! Shade it from the top to get an actual reading. You want the air temperature of the room not the temp of the canopy.
Whats the temp of the air coming in?
Its coming from where?, and flowing with those 2, 16" fans or whatever?
You should have that reducer right at the ceiling for netter flow if yiu have to have it. Whats that black fan in that one last pic?
You just have the 1 inline fan?
But you are trying to cool down the room not the tops. If you're tops have heat burn/light bleaching then back off the lights, but it wont bring the room temp down. If the actual room temp gets over 90f then you will have retarded slow growth. My thermometer in the light hits 98f while its really only 80f.I always read that it's best to suspended in the canopy
Not exactly;thats to hot... should try to never go above 85 deg... photosynthesis slows down dramatically! 78-79 is my magic number

LOL that's a thermometer, not a trapeze artist! Put that thing down at soil level where it belongs! If you're concerned about temperature stratification (hot air trapped at the top of the room, cool air at the bottom) then place a fan near the flour, aimed straight up. This is a good idea for better air circulation anyway. Here is a picture of where my Thermometers are I have two of them I just bought the one hanging in the front todayView attachment 3442541 View attachment 3442542 View attachment 3442541 View attachment 3442542 View attachment 3442543
