initial point proven. by only joining the polemic clash and watching yall shuffle. ;);-)

"very first" never equated "only", no matter how hard your nerve gets struck by anyone/thing straying from your narrow single thought process that has so thoroughly infected the minds of the contemporary useful idiots.

this is rollitup. laughs and clashes. for me, laughs at clashes. real discourse isnt par.

FORE!
There's no way this is Kynes. Kynes would at least show intelligence in his writings. He had a lot more snark to him, too.

the confederate flag was never even the official flag of the confederacy. the confederacy rejected that flag.

it was made popular by the KKK.

you're welcome for the history lesson.
nice! +rep

i didn't know that! do you know which one was?

States rights symbol
or
flag of slavery and oppression?
Definitely a flag of oppression.

When I was a kid I thought it was a neat design, sort of a British Union Jack in reverse.

I watched Dukes of Hazzard and liked it... totally missed the racial stereotype undertones.

When I got older and learned what it stands for, I got rid of my toy General Lee hot wheels.

I hate racism. Just about like I hate elitism and classism.

I disagree with the taking down of the Confederate flag. More Americans died in the Civil War than in WW2. People fought and died for that flag whether it is racist or not. To make it fair, I think both the Union and Confederate flag should fly to remember those fallen in the Civil War. We are constantly shown the 9/11 footage and told never to forget. As the towers fall, 3,000 people lose their lives. People actually die in that footage and I think it should not be shown on television but that will never happen. If you are going to show the murder of 3,000 Americans and tell the public to never forget, I think you can fly a beautiful flag in remembrance of those who died in America's most deadly war and also be told to never forget. Black people should remember their success in defeating slavery.

What flag did the racist fly before 1861? Oh yeah thats right, the American flag. Lets ban it as well and make a new flag representing the new America and not the repressive, racist, bigotted America of the past. Also lets ban the N word while we are at it. That certainly needs to go.

what do you mean, "whether it is racist or not"?

do you have doubts about what that flag stood for? it stood for subjugating black people and making them inferior to whites in every way.

states like south carolina only started flying it at their capitols in the 1960s as a message against civil rights.

get some history.

Come on UncleBiggot, except my challenge.
Shake hands with a black man! The color will not rub off, you racist biggot.
If you saw Obama in an alley you would run the other way because of your fear of minorities.
I have faith that some day you will be able to join the rest of humanity and accept people for what they are and not just pretend to, WKI.
