yo guys,

just thought id post a couple of pics, I'm 8 weeks in on my first grow. Growing 4 auto flowers. 3 red poison and 1 fruit auto plus. Iv been having some yellowing of the lower leaves on the fruit auto. I think its because I had stopped feeding N or at least lowered it right down. One oc my red poisons it turning yellow at quite a fast pace and I'm worried as I had some early problems which means I don't have lots of leaves on that plant. I did notice today that the pots were very light, they were really lacking water, that one in particular. I'm wondering if it was a coincidence or if it something more complicated, ill post a couple of pics. Be greatful of any comments.

thanks in advance

peace

Too much id say
really... Th soil was pretty much bone dry. I'll take your opinion on board tho cheers mate. Could it be that the plant is nearing the end of its life? I was maybe thinkin mag deficiency.. Only from what iv read tho.

I would say its not over or under watering. Looks like maybe just a tad to much N with a cal/mag deficiency.

ok cool cheers, you think to much N even tho there are no dark leaves? I'm not distrusting your judgement lol... Just open to discussion as I really wanna nail this problem... Think it could be to late anyways.. All the leaves seem to be effected appart from the newest growth which is little in the way of leaf at this stage of flowering.. Anothe question then.. If I lost all of my fan and secondery leaves, would it continue to grow bud?

cheers

also I dunno if you can see but the stems are red/purple, particually the leaf stems. The plant is red poison.. But dunno if the colour effects stems as well as flowers? Any idea on that?

To me personally it looks like a nitrogen deficiency...red stems and yellowing leaves, falling off...what nutrients are you giving her?

I'm using biobiz bloom feed NPK 2.-7-4 I cut back on nitrogen as the stage of flowering... I did think it was N def the other day so gave a small dose of bio grow. Doesn't seem to have done much tho, its getting worse. Maybe I need more nitrogen or maybe I got to much lol. I hate diagnosing. Deficiencies lol.

I said tad to much, because a few of your leaves are showing that claw, hook tips. It's really not a big deal, I wouldn't change anything to try and fix it. If you can work on that cal/mag problem then its likely to go away or at least stay the same. I would add some cal/mag nutes every 3rd watering, even this late into flower its not going to hurt.

To your question, your lady is cannibalizing its older growth to send the nutes its lacking into the flowers and new leaves. If you lost all your leaves at this point I would say, she would be OK, she would slow down a lot tho. So your looking at less, but she would make it to harvest. Just going by how she looks in the pics tho.

I would think the plant is eating itself due to lack of nutes
yeah I'm thinking that to, they were due a feed today so they got one, added some grow (N) to the mix. See if it helps. Dunno if it will. They are a 6 week germ to harvest strain and I'm at 8 weeks now with a couple more to go... Maybe the leaves are past there sell by date lol

The red stems are from the lack of mag, the rusty spots are from lack of cal. She is fine on N, no need to giver her more or less then you have been it the past few weeks.

ok mate that's cool, it could well be to much N. I did give a dose the other day when I noticed yellowing. Fed today and added some more... So if it is N toxicity ill be flushing tomorrow lol. Fuckind deficiency's lol.

I remove damaged leaves (minus the odd tip burn). Lets you see over the following weeks if more damage is occurring.
