i like to walk mine down from 18 to 16 for a few days then 14 for few days more then go to 12hrs... similar to what happens in nature.

its always helped with bud set for me.

i get more growth but not stretch, just need to anticipate when you want them to be at 12/12... at the same time bud set is so much more aggressive than without. easy to notice on og
