I see you hang before trimming. How the heck do you trim after lol. I tried it with the one sample I clipped and it seems way harder to trim. All of the sugar leaves and small leaves are sticking to the buds.

I have some suture scissors. Just position correctly on leafs and cut. I think it's harder to trim before dry. Too much sticky

I never thought I would get done trimming lol. It took about 7 hours. I pray the smell stays. It's like a citrus piney skunk smell. The sample I took off about a week ago is in a cure jar now and smells like hay. It never fells every single time it always smells like hay. That one dried for about five or six days hanging and I just put it in the jar today. Hopefully it will come back. Anyway heres the pics I got more than I thought I would.

Then I final trim and cut from main stems and placed in brown paper bags for 2 additional days. Then I bag in my plastic. The pic is ready for final drying in brown paper bags

So you never cure it in jars? The ones I got hanging now seem to be drying faster then I want. Most likely because I trimmed them. My humidity is at 48 if I turned the fan off for a day would I risk getting mold? It seems like the small fan I have pushing air around is making them dry even faster. Btw your bud looks amazing nice sticky goey nug!

Never in jars. I'm not sure what humidity is but I keep between 70-72. .I would keep the fan. I keep my ceiling fan on high 24/7. Ready to cut from stems when the stems make a snapping break noise. Then off to brown bags. Thank you. I'm currently trimming lol

You want them to suck all the life out of the stem and leafs to get all she can. Most importantly, the snap is my indicator their ready for cutting from stems to individual nuggets. BTW you can almost zoom enough to see clear, amber to white crystals in that pic. I'm much pleased with pic lol

Yeah I noticed the crystals when I looked at it that is a good pic. And I'm gonna try it your way even though I already trimmed lol. But even as its drying now it already smells like hay so I might be screwed already.

Sometimes it can start smelling like hay but then get better a few weeks later from my own exp...i buy those little humidity.packs they use for cigars and put one in every 2 ounce jar...humidity around 62-69

Well I hope it gets better. I tried the boveda humidapacks last year and my bud molded. It was either to wet when I put it in the jar or I needed the bigger packs. Either way it didn't work out as planned. I'm going to keep trying new things untill I get it right lol. That's why this time I got the caliber hygrometers to make sure I don't get mold again.

Day 39 red poison update. I must have gotten a sativa pheno this thing is growing tall and lanky. I can't tie her down anymore because the tops are to tall so when I bend them sideways she doesn't fit in my tent. That's what I get for having a tent that's only 22 inches deep. So I guess I just have to let her grow hopefully she stops soon my tent isn't that tall either.

Looks gd mate...what sort of hours do u give it ..i have a tent but never done an auto is it 24 hrs ?
