sooo oonce again i dont know how well my plant is going to do.and ofcourse im thinkin about it cuz its the only one i got.
..
7 weeks in veg and i just now realized i had the whole spectrum thing wrong. no need to explain how but ..
i got it wrong.
my cfls were 2500k instead of 6500k
i just added the only 2 5000k i had in the house

my plant actually has been doing great but i am a little worries i just ruined my yeild
what do you think?
i will be switching into flowering shortly and would have to continue giving it 2500k. correct?

Weight and yeild can have different ups and downs like what size pot u are using if u have a good yielding plant and also lights of course

so do u think its a biig deal that i vegged with 2500k?what kind of effect did/will that have on the plant??

It really won't affect yeild but will have a impact on tighter and more compact buds once u go into the flowering stage also u could find people saying that it could stress your plant but this is untrue as I'm always switching my lights I think it's better for bud growth

correct

dont worry about it, your plants would have done better but alls good :)

tip for the future my friend ....... 150w 2500k cfl is the same to run in electric as a 150w 2500k HPS EXACTLY THE SAME PRICE IN WATTS OF ELECTRICITY your cfl is about 10,000 - lumins .... a HPS is triple (ish)

good luck with the grow :)

red light = stretchy stems

blue = short stems = more bud sites

youll get less yeild basically
my stems on the plant are actually the opposite all the nodes are so tight and close to each other no stretch at all
but i do belieave i should have more bud sites. i feel i only have 6. i see ppl with dozens

do you know what your doing?
what do you mean topping fim? yea ive done it a few weeks back and it was getting rlly bushy out of controll so i didnt think i had to top anymore. it would increase my veg time and i was planning on switching to flowering in a few days. but now i think u r right. i should top'em only to make more colas. i feel like i bareley have any . how many tops do you see,,

theres at least 4 there i see, LST that bushy beast, for airflow and light penetration.
honestly its so difficult to lst at this point,, last week i snapped one of the branches which thankgod is recovering and didnt harm plant. evereyone said it was almost like suppercropping.
now all the nodes are so close to each other and its so bushy im scared to lst lol....i suppose ill give it another try
i will topp a few as well,
do you have any other suggestions to lst other than tying branches down to the pot
is it okay if i tape the fan leaves shut or in half if you know what i mean?

thank you

I wouldnt tape them shut. You can tuck them..and lst should be done like slowly a little at a time..

jk :)

if you put a damp cloth around the stems for 5 mins, the stems wont snap when you lst.

if your plants to bushy then prune some lower leafs off then top

:)
i was told dont ever cut leaves off by manyy ppl. they provide energy for plant .shits always contradicting on this forum sheesho_O

bend and train your plant towards the lights dont take stuff away from your plant rule of thumb is if its dead take it off if its still growing leave it
