Listen, little Elia: draw your chair up close to the edge of the precipice and I'll tell you a story. AN can blow sunshine up your ass. But in fact it's night time.Leave it alone. 2 reasons. It has a PH balancing mechanism built in, it's hard to explain, I saw a video about the technology they use. Think of a ball of PH UP, coated in a layer of something that dissolves in a low PH solution, so if the PH goes down, that outer layer dissolves, releasing the PH up, thus raising the PH. Same thing with PH DOWN. But it's all happening at a molecular level. When you add more PH UP or DOWN, you end up neutralizing many of those built in buffers, which usually causes massive PH shifts to start happening. From reading many forums, a lot of people having issues after adding PH UP or DOWN to these nutes.
Oh,yeah the other reason is the nutes are chealated so well - pretty much broken so it's easier to consume- that the plants can easily uptake them between, something like 5.5 to 8.0. Mine drift between 5.8 and 6.2, which is fine, you want a little drift.
What's your water like? When i was on tap it drifted worse up to like 6.5, but i never saw any issues. I had decent tap water.
I'm looking into other ferts now, I got what I have now as a gift, and not looking forward to having to pay for it when i need them. I was going to use GH 3 part, it worked well for me in the past, but F Scotts! ( Fitzgerald..HA! i had to..don't get it?, nevermind...I'm high). There are a few other companies who have the same technology but don't advertise it like AN and are much cheaper. I honestly don't think the cost of AN is that big of a factor, considering what you get out of it, but if i can get the same thing with half, or less, of the cost..
Ahh this makes alot of sense thank you! After i started adjusting the ph my runoff seemed to spike a tiny bit and now it makes sense. I use 0ppm RO water. I do enjoy using AN but i will most likely be switching to something else after i use the rest of what i have.Leave it alone. 2 reasons. Yep i use most of their additives. Im just vegging some moms right now but i have the sensi grow, b52, voodoo juice, and sensi cal mag xtra. I even have their ph up and down but it looks like i wont be needing those for awhile!DO NOT adjust pH. I use AN 3-part pH perfect and was having problems when I was adjusting the pH, then I did some reading and I found out you're not supposed to add pH up or down. Do you use any of their additives? If not I highly highly suggest them, there worth every penny. Here's my line up, the three big bottles are 1L the small ones are 250ml, total cost about $110 and that's enough to get me through this harvest and one more so that's only 55 dollars every harvest, and what you get in return is priceless lol. Do you hate life chuck? Because all i see from you is bashing people that use advanced. It works and it works good for alot of people. Not saying its the best thing out but its a hell of alot better than using some shit made by scotts. My buddy is a caregiver that was using gh for years getting an average of 1 gram per watt. He switched to AN and his numbers jumped up to about 1.5 per watt
I just laugh that noobs buy all that crap, plus buy into a brand does better than another brand. If you know what you are doing, you can grow great with ANYTHING. nutrients are a SMALL part of great grows. maybe you'll learn that some day.Do you hate life chuck? Are you using the stuff specifically for coco? There is sensi grow A&B and sensi coco grow A&B..My nutes come out to 6.1 pretty consistently and Im using 100% coco so its definately right near the sweet spot. Runoff ph will usually be from 5.8-6.1
You need to stop the hate and do some research on additives, no not just additives from Advanced Nutrients but from any company. Here's a couple of good Links to get you started. Now the first one is a real long read but the wealth of information in it is priceless.
I think you do too, 99.9% of them are noob trapsYou need to stop the hate and do some research on additives

But,but, AN uses superior salts and my buddy got a .5 gram per watt difference using AN.The AN love/hate stuff is fucking hilarious. Grown men arguing over a chemical fertilizers....outstanding!
Lol youre funny. Id rather get another lb of product over not anyday. Not sure how you think thats not a big dealBut,but, AN uses superior salts and my buddy got a .5 gram per watt difference using AN.
