Why are you guys crusading against Advanced Nutrients, I don't get it, everybody knows that their nutrients get the job done like a lot of other nutrients. Do you guys have a personal vendetta against them, please enlighten me!

Yes.
ever hear the saying, a fool and his money, well, when you buy into AN's hype, you are the fool and AN is the one who parted you with your money. You can grow as well, if not better with a basic gardening fertilizer, when you know what you are doing.Guys who grow trees outdoors, aren't carrying bottles of AN out to there grows, besides being 90% water, they just are smarter than that. Now, if you want to include all there shady business practices and owners being chomo's, then you have a full house. but you go ahead and buy into the BS, maybe you will become a REAL grower someday and learn it isn't the nutes that make a great grow.

Money huh, well to me they're not expensive at all I spent about $110 and that's gong to take through at least a couple harvest. And what do you consider a real grower to be, somebody who doesn't spend any money on nutrients regardless of brand and get monster results, is that the staple of a real grower?

Cant find much info on this. If you use the ph perfect line is it ok to add some ph down to my mix or should i just leave it. Its at 6.1 but i would prefer it at 5.8.....thx for the help!
You dont ever need to adjust the Ph using the bases with the additives. I run the Conni in Peat/coco mix and it whips up around 5.8. The main thing to do is mix up all the nutrients and let it sit for a half hour and check it and it should be right around that 5.7 - 6.0 range it will go to that spot no matter what.

And the guy who posted earlier is correct, they have a built in molecule based system with Ph buffers in their bases to automatically bring ph up or down into range for hydroponics and soilless mediums.

in principal its because these nutrients are chelated and produced to be uptaken at such a wide range it doesnt matter the exact Ph you are getting so long as it comes out anywhere from say 5.2 up to 6.5 will be fine no issues.

Its really an amazing product all around and takes the stress out of calibrating pens and doser pumps and all that headache. Been using it since it came out and havent looked back.

I buy packets of fert from my hardware store 7 dollars for grow 7 dollars for flower water soluble stuff. Use about half a pack of each per plant to finish. I also buy my coco from the hardware store too compressed bricks. I am getting better results then when I used hydro nutes. Total of 14 dollars of feed for each plant. To produce a minimum of a pound each....no brainer for me

The hydro industry in general is a big rip off. Overpriced chemicals snd products the only thing i get from hydro shops these days is replacement bulbs

I dont want to argue with anybody and iam a noob, but i know i bought micro grow bloom for the simplicity, not expecting 50 percent yields over any other brand. I spent $35 on the trio, and by the looks of of it i will probably only end up using half of each liter by the time im done. When iam more experienced i would love to learn to make my own nutes, but for me and probably a lot of other growers, i wanted something very simple to use and it has proven to be worth the money. Iam 8 days into flower and just happy they are green and alive.

Nice got any pics? A wise man once told me, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence!

Thinking maybe I will do a journal on my next grow. My current grow is four weeks in flower now. And I have rooted cuttings that I took before flower waiting to go in my room. I do not really feel the need to prove my methods. However it may be of interest to some people to see what can be done without hydro specific products. Sure Hydro specific products do work I am not disputing that, I have just found through experimentation I can do just as well using much cheaper alternatives and keeping it simple.

At the end of the day what does it really matter what someone else wants to spend money on to grow their plants? If they like their results and the products work good for them who the hell cares. Arguing about who uses what and how much something costs is irrelevant.

Its like telling someone they are an idiot for buying a Ferrari because they just got a Hinda Civic that can bring them to the mall in the same amount of time. If you spend 20$ or 2000$ on nutrients and you are happy and like the way they work than thats awesome!

I probably have more bottles of nutrients in my room than some stores have on their shelves because I use them for different things and I am always trying out new shit to find what works the best for me. So does that mean that I shouldnt be allowed to be happy and grow my meds because someone else thinks I wasted my money? Absolutely not, in the grand scheme of things who the fuck cares guys. If you can grow all your meds and help other people out and it only costs you 50$ for to grow than thats great, but if you went and spent 1000$ and were happy than thays great too. Why argue about what someone else is doing with their lives at the end of the day it has no impact on your life whatsoever. Which is the problem with humanity these days. People cant mind their own business and feel the need to act like tyrannical bullies and belittle others and the less fortunate. The world would be a better place if everyone just helped each other out and congratulated people for being happy.

People who come on here and want to tell other people they are stupid or dont know what they are doing shouldnt be allowed to come and make posts anymore because noone has time for that shit. If you can help someone save some money than tell them what to do and leave it at that. And if they dont want to listen and keep using what they are comfortable with and like than it is what it is.
