Javadog's Next Adventure

JD that 2nd one while slightly less pretty would be the way to go. Later stage flowering, you aren't going to be wanting to move the plant much so have the nice access panel to the res is very practical. May want to take it another step and install drain / gromet at bottom of res to ease res.changes.

Hey BLJ,

It is nice to see the thread perk up and to hear from you.

The appraisal is tomorrow and I will be breaking down the tent
today for short while of storage.

I will be trying a RDWC method when I return to this.

...and, yes, either a larger rez, with top access, or a separate
rez tub/bucket with a fill port and water-level indicator will have
to be part of that picture.

I am very lucky to have lbs to enjoy. lol

Take care,

JD

Hello Team,

The house-viewing is over.

I celebrated the fact that the Gov, along with the wife,
are set to keep me poor for another year at least by
buying the RDWC system that my work ethic requires. :0)

I am not certain when I will be able to set the tent back up,
but it will go in stages. This will allow me to set it up so as
to maintain all of the headroom it can. I am still toying with
the idea of cutting the ceiling out and extending the sides.

I thought that 2015 would be the year to settle me out....still
might be but I bear a load bros.

Take care,

JD

Glad your done with it at least JD. Im in the thick of it so-to-speak. I know of bearing loads... ugh.. Keep your chin up man. It will get better.

IMO you need a 4x8 in that room with the 4x4 doing vegwork. split the level by building a short space on top and tall space on the bottom. (split level 4x4 tent). run small ones/clones up top and bigger ones below. It would be pretty cheap to build vero 10 cob bars for a split level 4x4. run about 200w for all of it.

hopefully the next time I invite all you guys out we will be in our own house! :-)

Sadly, while I am running it as is, to check for leaks and such,
I am finding that the Air Pump is too loud....or, really, to energetic,
as much of the sound seems just below audible. I screwed the
rubber feet onto a 2X4 but this did not do enough.

I am going to have to make a soft-box for this bastard. I am no
craftsman, but my problem is really that I do not have but the
roughest of tools. I will make do.

I tried to get a quiet fan but I failed, so any idea on good material
for a sound-deadening box, then please lay them on me.

Take care all,

JD

I can cut, drill, and counter sink you a just assemble kit. If so I just need some measurements.

LOL....skills!

That would be great Doc.

I would want to paypal you for all costs. This helps a lot.

I will want to find my foam and to a little math. I will post back.

Oh yeah, and I popped one each (my mode ;0) of these last
night:

BB Blue Pit
BB Livers BX
TGA Space Dawg
TGA The Flav
TGA Kaboom
Kaliman Quattro Fromaggio (sp?)

I am still toking the very delicious HGK (@SomeGuy did you
ever get any from this?) and Sour Kosher, but look forward to
also getting some of my other genetics back from my bro.

Take care and thanks again Doc!

No cost but to ship it. We have scrap I can use and would not take but a few minutes to do so no worries bud:)

Coolio. :0)

I am trying to imagine what sort of 2X? would be wide enough
for you to lay a piece down and then take away 2"* on both sides
by laying additional pieces on it as sides of the box.

Thickness will help determine the efficacy. I know I heard this
from one of our buds here.

Then I will think about how to pass air through it too...
I am thinking that this might mean a baffle, but then 2" thick
must go away...

Who knows...before we are done time and materials might be
appropriate here Doc. :0)

P.S. I would want to have a computer fan, or similar (very little
energy use), inside the box and forcing air out of one baffled opening
and so in another. I might be too much, but I am sure that these
fans need air....they go 7/24.

We have a CNC router and if I can put in auto cad we can make anything. I made 3/4 in plastic scale cabinets for Mowie airport not to long ago:)

i started out using air pumps and hydro... i went with 2 small pumps per 5 gallon bucket... seems like having smaller pumps will help lower the vibration... it will make more of a fan noise than a vibrate that way so at least the noise will stay in the room
