Today i got a notice of entry to my apartment due to bedbugs on the bottom floor. I live in bc so cannabis is illegal..

they need to spray pesticides all over my house on thursday.

I have(had) 12 plants all in different stages of flowering. and 6 young plants in veg.

Killed them all today. spent all night packing up my entire grow room in garbage bags and got everything out of my house.. I always knew there would be a chance of something like this could happen. lived here for over a year and havent had a problem. was getting real comfy with everything since no one has bothered me ever. Just wasn't prepared for this.

fuck it. was so hard to chop them all premature, i honestly teared up a bit. but it had to be done! not worth the risk let alone all the poison that will be present..

so im having a pretty rough night. hopefully some of you guys can relate.

That sucks bro. That is my nightmare waiting to happen. I've lived in this place for over eight years, and I've been growing here for the last five. I have a deadbolt on my grow room door, of course, so if the owner or his workmen ever have to do anything to my floor, I simply wouldn't let them in that room. My excuse is it's my office, but it has effectively become my gf's darkroom and she just hung some film in there for a uni photography class. Can't go in there right now, sorry. I'd tell them they need to come back for that room, then do what UB3 above suggested: rent a truck, tear down the room, then put it up again the next day. What a fucking nightmare that would be with over a hundred plants! Turns out the only time they've had to get in that room was to replace the windows, and that was right before I started growing. Even the bug guy that comes only goes into the bathroom and kitchen. He said that they don't really spray anymore, just baits and monitoring, mostly in the basement. Can't wait to get my own house, should be this year. I will finally be able to scale up the grow, and not have to worry about this shit. So, sincere hugs to you, bro. Too bad you couldn't simply move those ladies...

That's poop. I can't relate to the growing thing, but I can relate to life throwing you a shit sandwich every now and again.

I wouldn't allow them to spray any chemicals around my apartment..they don't kill bedbugs..I know i had an infestation in my house last year(thanks Mom!)....Heat over 120F for over 5 sec. ,freezing for 6 months, iso alcohol in a spray bottle..or physically squishing them. I had to literally bag everything in my house, then I got to work, i used a paint stripping heat gun to heat treat all my furniture and belongings, isolated bed from the floors, wrapping furniture in plastic and spreading D.E. (Diatomaceous Earth, you should have some around for your garden anyway) around in furniture and around the base of mattresses. it took about 8 months of "quarantine" but i haven't had one in 6 months now. I was seriously thinking of burning my house down at one point it got so bad.

After what i went through, if i was living in an apt. and was told there were bedbugs..I think I'd pack up personal stuff and start looking for a new place.

On a funny side note..did you know bed bugs mate through violent rape? The female doesn't have a reproductive opening. The male bedbugs penis is like a little spear and when a male, or group of males, find a female they all attack her and literally stab her in the abdomen with their penile spear to impregnate her..many female bedbugs die if the are found by more than a couple males. see rape can be funny..F bedbeugs:finger:

side thought..start a businesses selectively breeding male bed bugs..release thousands into an infested house and let them rape the female bedbugs to death..Hmmmmm...

Yeah i have used Diatomaceous Earth. when i frist moved in i sprinkled a "moat" all the way around the tent just incase there was some sort of pest problem.
Fuck im not to happy about the spraying of poison in my place. Its the suite right under me that reported bedbugs. haven't seen any up here ever. But they say they have to do it, and if i fail to comply my lease will be terminated and ill have to pay for the exterminator myself.

I guess just sometimes she goes, sometimes she doesn't cause that's the fucking way she goes.. Looking forward to my next harvest in november :)

They spread fast and are tough to get rid of. We had one apartment at work that had them and they spread to 5 others in like a month.
We had to pull off all the outlet cover plates so they could spray inside the walls too.

It took like six treatments to finally get rid of them, I used to put on rubber boots to work in the apartment that was ground zero. The I would shower and change my clothes in a vacant apartment before I went home. Those things are bad news.

fuck that would suck if they had to treat several times. Gonna have to hold off on setting back up for awhile. they said something about getting a dog to sniff out the bedbugs lol. neat

anyone have any exp smokein premature unflushed plants?lol

Yea definitely just move them for the day. I had to chop idk 60 plants and then move all my old moms and clones to a new house in another city in the middle of the night..that was some shit
