Any significance of a three leaf only plant?

I have this 7 week cross I made from a THC bombxliberty haze X kali mist and it's only putting out 3 leaf only. Any thoughts?

Maybe time to repot? I had an OG Kush cut some years ago that would put out anything from 1 leaf to 4 leaf patterns when she needed a repot. Took me a few rounds to come to this conclusion but as soon as she had more root space the 5 leaf patterns started coming out again.

Is that a seed or a clone? Ive had a strain that had been cloned out a few times and it would mainly only have 5 blades. When it was growing really strong and got older then it would put 7s out finally. Ive noticed that clones have fewer blades than plants from seed.

On another note that plant looks super stretched out, if it has grown like that its entire life then i would consider just tossing it. Also the pot looks like it might be too small but i cant tell from that pic

Mahalo for all the responses. I have a shitload of fem beans I made crossing a reversed liberty haze to a reg fem bomb and like the cross, I just wanted to further my experimenting and wanted sum reg beans so I crossed with my male kali mist so u can imagine how many different phoenos there would be so I left sum in there little 4" pots because they were taking up too much room and thinking maybe males. Here's one of its siblings in a 4 gal pot. All beans popped on 4/11.

It's at 42" tall and it's been pushing out 11 finger leaves. The only concern I have was I read somewhere about 3 finger only leaves on a plant were something special...I just. Ant recall the significance.

it happens...nothing to worry about

Thats not normal. # of fingers is directly proportional to light intensity, notice how thin the wanna be stem is and the massive internode lengths....

Its getting just enough light to maintain photosynthesis and keep going, probly only 3k lumens.. too much less and it would soon die.

You can make it jump to 9 and bring back down to 3 just by playing with lighting. In general each k equals another leaf. Some sativas if blasted can get 13-15 leaves and will become double serrated. Light intensity will deepen ridges and serrations as well as thicken the leaf, not so transparent, and the leaves themswlves take on a different structure. Just like when yu light bleach a strain and they get wide and thick
Ahh nvm

there are some highly sought after strains that only put out 3 leaves. Probably not the case here. I think they are sativa landraces that are hard to find these days.

Qwiz has hit the edge of the target or maybe I can just make it simpler.

Stress is the reason. Stress can be from many causes. Light is certainly one of them. Low nutrients available/to little feeding you can go on and on. Young plants do it till they are large enough to supply what it needs.

Dr Smith (Loved the show) and SourD have the correct answer. Too small a pot! The plant needs to be repotted and feed well for it's size (it should be trowing more leaf sets already).....
