You can make it jump to 9 and bring back down to 3 just by playing with lighting. In general each k equals another leaf. Some sativas if blasted can get 13-15 leaves and will become double serrated. Light intensity will deepen ridges and serrations as well as thicken the leaf, not so transparent, and the leaves themswlves take on a different structure. Just like when yu light bleach a strain and they get wide and thick

Light or strain or sex have nothing to do with how many fingers are on a leaf. I've had the same strain grown in exactly the same environment produce different amounts of fingers. It's just the way that individual plant grows.

I can say this. Plants that I've seen indoors from seed start with one point leaf and go up from there. 1,3,5,7,9, etc. Now can we conclude that's from light? Maybe. Reason being I start with a bulb or two of t5 at sprout and go up from there. Its either age or increasing light as I go.

I also have noticed plants will do the same thing from seed as u go up nodes the leaf points go up.

I have also noticed that indicas tend to stop somewhere between 7-9 points. Sativas tend to get more. I have a c99 outside that is throwing 15 point beautiful serrated points. Also that outdoor plant tend to go up in points faster and higher in points than indoor.

I have also noticed that anything with ruderalis in starts with a point and then goes up but after a point or three it will be 4 or six points and really look funny. Sometimes they stay at three or four.

I will take a pic of the c99 leaf. Its as big as a paper plate with 15 points. Very pretty plant.

Yes I have since potted up in a bigger pot and wallah. It's just strange how it started tho, alternating nodes to pairs now.

Pot size and root space has nothing to do with leaf count

All of those share one little bag of dirt




I can make leaves jump from 3-9 by increasing light intensity and bringing back down to 3...in General each k is a new leaf set. Obviously governed by genetics but still pretty close. Its a natural response the plant has..yhe plant reacts to its surroundings, in the same way it will stretch if too much water, or when light bleached leaves thicken. Hormomal etc responses.. Learn about plants..i dont have time to argue

I would supercrop the cunt right now bro and the plant I'm growing now went 1,3,7,9 it completely jumped the 5 serrated finger leaves and she's now staying on 11
