You know it's a problem when you forget about cars you own... I have a 1969 Impala SS427 convertible sitting in my old garage waiting for a resto..showing 37K on the clock and it looks to be original..1 of maybe 200 ss427 convertibles made in '69..I've been sitting on it for over 5 yrs now, had it shipped in from OK where it sat out in a field years, other than the fender bottoms and a quarter size hole on the floor its SOLID. I have everything except one big part..trying to find an OEM Pass. side quarter panel. I'm probably going to end up buying a whole car and cutting it up, no aftermarket sheet metal is going on this thing.

should look like this when it done..same colors

I'm sitting on a few inherited projects as well..I'd post pictures but all the ones i have ID my property too well..
1979 Monte carlo, bucket interior, i have a GN 3:42posi for it, built th350 and a 500hp+/- small block sitting on a stand, hoping to make a sleeper street racer out of that one..the motor was built to handle at least a 150HP nitrous shot :fire:...

Also have a 39K mile all orig 1969 Impala SS 427 convertible( 1 of maybe 200 made) waiting on a full resto, but i need to find an OEM pass side quarter panel before i touch it.

1973 malibu..old lady car..75K original miles 350 2bbl/auto..got a fully redone swivel bucket interior waiting to go in. Just a clean cruiser.

there's a '78 2dr Bonneville sitting in my back yard, a 1979 F250 supercab with the HD suspension sitting on 36" swampers

It's kinda depressing..with my stuff and my dads stuff i inherited..i don't see much of it getting done, and having it just sit around it's rusting away....i put a bunch of stuff up for sale last year,

Oh yeah my "yard truck" lol..it was a '79 f250, the body rotted away so i removed it....i needed something for pulling motors/bodies so i welded the crane on. and I plow with it in the winter..

I had a black 89 mustang that was my favorite.. convertible. I stripped it and cleaned it up(no more roof) dropped an ls1 into it. Sounded great, so clean...was a lot more work than originally planned. Did have to knock back the fire wall ..and i basically just welded the top half of the Chevy engine mount to the ford mount and it went pretty good..a th350 mated nicely for the most part and all went well....bad ass car that more importantly, every aspect was free....got the shell for free for doing an engine swap out of that mustang into a 25th anniversary gt model.. I just needed the drive train.. the ls1 came out a buddies junked Corvette that he fucked the engine, he intended to put an ls3 in....so had to rebuild the engine, did all the machine work, honed it etc.
After i got that dropped in and fiberglass where the top was, all smoothed out, got rid of door handles of course. And did some interior work, had to make new door panels for the wider buick seats. And then made a new dashboard, wood inlay down the cosole. Radio in the glove box. Smoothed out the bumper car style bumpers and fender flares, minor body work. And then 15" 83's
Too bad there arent pics. Nice car

my first bike, I bought it complete, I added the coffin tank and king and queen seat and painted it..poorly.. '79 shovel, stroked and bored, never knew the actual size was told it was around 95ci, aftermarket cases and jugs, rigid frame 4spd kick only, custom built springer front end ( made out of 30's era chevy wishbones)
it had a custom made sidecar..but I can't find any pics of it..

Where i was in the rebuild when i ran out of $$$

The sporty i traded it for, back to the guy who originally built the chopper...1200S with screaming eagle stage1 intake and exhaust..I HATED THIS BIKE. too small, poor seating position, shitty lean angle for a small bike.

The brand new '09 road king i traded the sporty in on..I can't find the pic but i had 16" black apes, black braided cables,Rush 3" black pipes stage 1 intake, tuner..dyno'ed at 101hp 97 tq..this thing handled better than that sporty..i leaned it so far so many times the floorboards were ground down..

I'm bikeless right now..thinking of getting another..

LMAO..it's such a POS but it just keeps going..400M/4spd/4wd, welded rear diff, the frame is held together with patches of angle iron and street sign posts, one exhaust manifold is just hanging off the side of the engine..supported by what little exhaust is left on it, there are no floorboards under the drivers feet or seat..OH and if you park it after moving forward the hood folds over the radiator support ad you can't open it.., you need to go in reverse to unload the drivetrain and the nose sheet metal shifts enough to open the hood.. I'm literally just waiting for it to break in half and then I'll scrap it..

my Clubsport 317kw 6s
fuck yeah! Finally found an Aussie! A mate of mine had an R8, 6.3 and went through walkinshaw and they put a cam, exhaust and OTR and MAFFless tuned, made 390kw on 98 and 430kw on E85.. That thing was a weapon.. You had any older holdens? My first 3 cars I owned were a VK then 2 VL's

Saw the NHRA stop in NH this year always a good time they manage to break the track record every year hah et and mph.

I've got some toys littered all across these forums let's see if I can paraphrase

96 Sierra 'sinister', 95 silverado 'devious' (winter project), 450r. I also have a 97 f350 and a 99 silverado for the winter. Not bad for 26
Good job one the woman. I respect a man who has standards!
