Also, in my opinion, (using my "moral compass" lol) stealing can be justified. I'm not talking about this thread, there's no justyfing that.. it was a mistake on his end. But there are times when stealing is done for a good purpose.

Have you ever downloaded music from an app or a mp3 downloading site? If any of you agree that all theives are bad and you have ever downloaded a song that gives back no money to the artist, then you're a hypocrite. Same for download able movies like smokey188 mentioned.

You can go ahead and say I have poor logic, but I just believe our morals are different. If you judge so harshly and cannot forgive people for mistakes then I think you're better described as an asshole rather than scum.

Just my view.. not gonna reply anymore, it would be pointless. Besides, I'm not high enough yet.

This was not a mistake, it was a calculated fraud. And i'm just one of those people, i have many cases in my past where my best friend who i've never had an issue with has done one thing so i simply walk away and never contact them again.

As to downloading films and music, that is an entirely different issue. The majority of people download things they would never otherwise have paid for. Digital downloads in this context do not cost the artist or studio a penny as they'd never have received a penny either way.

And as said previously, of course there may be times where theft might be justified, such as if that chinese firm had intentionally tried to screw him over, which they didn't.

Lol keep acting like your shit doesn't stink.. there's no difference between stealing music and stealing lights. The artists of those songs had to sacrifice their time that could have been spent making money another way. They invested time, work, and money into their product to make a profit yet people steal from them all the time. Same goes for movies. You can try to justify that all you want but I'm sure you understand you're wrong. Take a look at yourself and realize you're not better than anybody else. Neither am I, but that's why I don't act like I am.
