To be fair, most of the information I've gained comes from meeting experienced industry people, sampling different product, reading all of "Jorge"s books, reading grow journals and doing business with industry companies. Most people in this industry are so helpful and have no problem sharing "trade secrets" or techniques. Often people ignore the simplest of things and I approach everything from a numbers perspective so it's more of a scientific approach than a casual approach.
Now what I'm trying to do is take all this knowledge and apply it to a grow cabinet - that's the hardest and most fun part.

doingdishes is great. He calls me out when I'm wrong and strokes my ego when I'm on the right track.
I ask less questions here then I used to, but that's because many of my questions were answered long ago and I've come to realize that much of what is posted ends up being heavily influenced by opinion.
Example:
When discussing when I should harvest my buds, I would get 100 different opinions, "sciences", indicators, etc.
When I look at the actual science behind it and I look at "Jorge"s books, etc there are a few key factual indicators that can be used:
The community has been super helpful, but now it's time to put the axe to the grindstone and actually try doing it.
I'm sure I'll be reaching out to Hippy and doingdishes and the rest of the group here with questions as I go, but I'm super excited about this next step.

- trichomes can be inspected to determine how full they are - when they're full the bulbous tip appears as the resin builds pressure
- trichomes turn from clear to milky in the stage just before they pass their peak and begin turning brown. I was told by many many people that brown trichomes are the best, but the botanists claim that brown is past the prime.

i suggested he ask questions on different threads...i don't have a lot of experience in growing so I would be useless there, extractions-I am OK with them but i suggest going to the extractions and concentrates forum for better advice.

wouldn't that be something...a grower/trimmer/budtender union.....If LP's go union, won't the prices go up even higher?they let them all go because they were thinking about starting a UNION!

What's the minimum number of employees needed to form a union? Union wages would for sure kill lp's.
Making the case for allard and goldstars that much stronger in the process.
