What a Hermed plant should look like

Man i have a question.
The big leaves surrounding those colas, i see some shadowing/black spots beneath them, wouldn't they affect lower buds? I mean the growth throughout the stalk, those Popcorn buds, will they still grow or produce trichomes like the top colas who has more direct light? Would they have the same potency?

YesDirect light on a particular bud will improve that bud..but ingeneral the plant knows what its doing and overall, removal may result in a net loss, side or lower lighting like some 42watt cfls etc will do alot and better than leaf removal

However you may improve yields of sellable bud, if not using lower ligjt or especially if removing fans.

As far as the gaps, other than most of plants growing like that, these had a week during early flower when the lights were taken by my ex friend and I was forced to run a t5 and a t8 for a week waiting on a new system. When these are done I have 12 blue dream going in, they are amazing and I'm sure they will be impressive, but I don't think these are bad at all. Especially the aromas

I will likely outfit the walls with like 6 panels of led, may run like 2000 for something decent, but penetration through these stretched plants is working out great, the lower buds are come shaped dense nugs with just as many trichomes as the top the only un sellable shit will be the bottom 10% and I'll be converting that to earwax so there's no real loss

Besides all of that, og plants grow like og plants. The fan leaves at the top were far smaller in the third week of flower, after the third week I don't touch anything. I have seen people with some pretty unhealthy shit, but these are all amazing, pretty resilient strains most of them the yield won't have to be sold it's mine to keep, if I want to sell something I'll whip together an app, or a video game and sell ad space, other than that these babies are all mines

Besides that, in order to take these pics without just getting a bright yellow mess I have to cut two lights down so with all of the lights on I couldn't really take pictures I'll post one later so you guys can see what I mean, white walls with 3000 watts running doesn't equal photo opp, but that's fine I'm really not in the roll it up competition just like to be able to smoke what I want when I want and the vintage in my cellar is all a1

Also science will tell you the reproductive devices of a plant are the product of the plant creating sugar, not the part that makes the sugar, without the sugars produced by the plant, the buds couldn't exist, that's not even debate able that's a scientific fact for hundreds of years it has been known maybe thousands, the leaves will help produce sugar by converting light within chloroplasts using photosynthesis I would get further into nuclear functions of botanicals however to do so would be a waste of time it is all readily available by establishments like Harvard, and a lot of other known sources, all over the internet, I like to spend my time educating myself on factual information so that I can set aside unsexy cared opinions, because my friends there are far too many of those almost as many as there are haters with nothing better to do, by the looks of it, their time would be better spent studying before speaking on shit of which they haven't fully educated themselves to do so would be ... With 3000 watts of light in a 10 by 10 room I'm not worried about leaves blocking light. I'm worried about healthy tight dense nugs that sparkle. I like the quality of a plant with nice solar panels

okay man. Haha it just came up to my mind, i thought they're like when vegging(i only use cfl/just a micro grow for personal) cause i Lst'ed my plant to be able to penetrate more light on the nodes and branches,

so when they're on flowering stage, i just want to stick to cfl ,lots of cfl, can i also use bud leaves to act as a solar panel ? U said that Bud leaves need light, the buds do not really benefit directly, or this is only for those who use high wattage of lights like hps mh led,

or i must have direct light all over the plant ? Tnx for ur quick response man. Where do u live? Europe? Americas? Asia? Antarctica(aint no buds will ever grow there)? Hahaha.

Just want to know if that leaves will help on bud production even if the lights dont penetrate growth below it. Yes light effects buds directly.. a single side shoot can be exploded by putting a cfl next to it

A good 1000 watt hps for 4 plants is enough to not worry about cfl bulbs, if you have dense plants where the leaves are blocking the light, I'd go with at least LED because a cfl is good for about 6 inches from the plant unless you're using 100 watt then it still has an incredibly short range and poor penetration due to lumen output and wavelength the light is pretty ineffective, if your plant is stretched and getting enough light you don't need side lighting, also rotation has a lot to do with it, I will post you pictures of the hydro set up I'm putting together where each plant has it's own 24 gallon tank and each has a 4by4 mesh there will be 12 of them it's the legal limit here with medical rec., I will show you what happens when the set up is configured correctly the specimens will be mostly blue dream, and a few purple kush, I'll post a pic of some of the buds on these which are perfect, a cfl wouldn't have done any good, with all the hps bulbs running all of the buds get light. A couple were harvest ready I'll include pics of the product, so regardless of what cfl lovers say if you sidelight buy something with some real power

Thanks for ur reply autoberry, im on a tight budget right now man and im only growing it for personal use, and its my frst grow. Not to ruin what I've started, im only using cfl, and i really admire ur plants having powerful light onto them. But what if ur only using cfl too, should you put the bulbs as close as possible to the bud sites? I mean, there should not be any shadowy area? By the time i have extra cash for hps led lights,ill buy it. But for the meantime, can u give me some tips if u know somethings that might help me using cfls, thanks bro. Yes it is, I would just keep them within 3-6 inches and monitor them daily, the closer the light the better the yield and with cfl bulbs they can almost touch the light.

Cfl bulbs will work fine just keep the light even and keep them close, the plants look great so I'm sure you'll do fine have a link for a 160 dollar hps set up I used in my second grow it includes everything, so if you wanna get into it low budget next time it's a cool set up for about the price of a hortilux bulb

I've just switched the light cycle last friday, its been a week now,and it showed its preflowers right,

So here's a bigger problem autoberry, i am growing them on a wooden cabinet. And still my cabinet dont have air circulation inside (exhaust,intake holes) i dont have any fans yet, and i think i cant make a hole on my wooden cabinet cause the wood is so thick,its like 5in. Haha. Im able to show it's preflowers in a week, but can they survive til harvest time without having air circulation inside? The only time they have air inside is when the lights are switched on, i have an AC in my room then i open the cabinet door a little. During dark period (12hr off) the cabinet is tightly closed to have no light leaks, is that okay? Can they make it til harvest time? Thanks man.

ive added a few extra bulbs... im pushing over 1,100 watts. everything home made first grow lile day 30 on the bigger 2. the others popped later. idr a date
