Pretty early this year, but Im showing flowers already on some strains. I have some on my deck also that are confused whether they want to reveg or not. Anyone else showing flowers now? The past 2 years I've had to kick em into flower to be ready by mid Oct....
I hope these dont try to reveg and fuck my yield up...Im kicking in the bloom nutes as of 2wks ago on the deck and in the garden one plant got their 1st bloom feed yesterday...the fruity chronic..note: one deck fruity chonic isnt flowering yet:/

Very nice! I'm still on a one hour interrupt light during the night so all vegging. Will let them do their thing shortly. I've never had a reveg on outdoor early flowering plants after the solstice so I bet they keep flowering fine. Good luck with the rest of your season!

how do you deal with hail? i'm at almost 9000ft and we get hail almost once a week. that's the main reason i stick to indoors.

Spent over 100 quid on tarps this year...only had to use once on the deck...the garden plants were smaller then so i let them take a little hail abuse...

That fruity chronic juice right in the middle there is flowering also...so I gave her some bloom nutes yesterday...first time growing this outdoors. Shes a wild one: spikey sativa leaves but bushy like an indica...its supposed to be 90/10 indica dom..but I never seen one that has sativa leaves other then this pheno

neat idea to put them lower in the ground. if i had them outside like that at my place, i'd have about 10 deer munching them into tiny bits. are you east of the Springs? the wind out there does get pretty rough at times.

Yes east of springs. This year i decided to scrog those totes up in hopes of getting a sturdy pound off each. I had just the 5g pots out there last year and had some breakage at the end when they packed weight. Scrog idea is working well...they still seem really sturdy from the winds. I didnt want to exceed the top of the railing on the deck but looks like I'll fail on that. Debating on how sturdy and tall they get whether i will add another net to hold up buds. Was just going to do the totes...but I thought...wth I might as well make the most of this free sun and space

yeah, no shit. free light is good light. looks like you don't have any nearby neighbors either.

have you ever tried any autoflowers outside. i got some freebies with my last seed order and figured i'd try them next year outside and see what happens.

normal photos would finish too late I think. we get our first snow late Sept early Oct usually. I'm in Teller county.

Never tried autos in or out. I did have a durban poison last year in the garden i had to let freeze...it just was taking forever to finish. The other hybrids finished . I let them go as long as I could...Did an emergency chop at the last minute before snow...I was trimming for 18 hours straight with helpers even. I didnt really prepare for that chaos like I should have...their were buds on screens all over the house drying lol. I do the wet trim and mesh screen dry method. Teller usually runs about 10-15 degrees cooler then us...and oh boy you get pop up storms galore!

Oops I spelt your name wrong *bugeye* sry.
So not even 6 hrs after this post i went out for an inspection, and sure enough most of them are looking on track now...except for the grape ape ...those 2 are still throwing spindlies. How I could tell was that they are now throwing pistils where as before they were just budding......whew!
I been tarping for 12/12 on the totes so Im not chopping so many at harvest time. Today I will pre-treat the 5g buckets and throw them under the tarp next wed....One more month and we'll have 12/12 light outside....bring it! lets get this party started!

Actually September 27 for 12/12 in Colorado Springs...but the party will start shortly anyway! I'm turning off my interrupt light tonight and expecting all to be in early flower by end of July.

I'm curious how your FCJ turn out. I had the indica pheno some years back and she had an amazing Juicy Fruit gum smell during flower that went to a decidedly grape flavor after cure. Very enjoyable but I wanted the Juicy Fruit smell to stay!

This FCJ goes threw several phases of aromas: fruit punch smell, somedays i swear it smells like a Wendys dumpster on a hot day, and then when cured she smells like a fresh cut grapefruit...citrusy and pungent.
What you got going this round? You are master of photography, lets see it!

Same as the Gaslight method for keeping plants in veg using less electricity. In my case, I am starting plants indoors on an 18 hour light cycle. So when they go outside in early June there are certain varieties that will begin to flower because they are now getting a little less than 15 hours of daylight. To prevent this from happening, I have a 60W light set to go on for about an hour during the middle of the night. That's all it takes to keep them from flowering earlier than I want.

Almost everyones in flower mode now...the outdoor deck pots and the garden. Was showing a bit of yellow in the middle of quite a few garden gals....sucking that power to the flower
